1.trainnewfactoriesandpackagingsupplierstomakesuretheyunderstanddifferentcustomerspackagingrequirementswithin3daysofporeceipt.

2.followupwithmerchandisersforontimereceiptofphotosample.anyphotosamplebeingdelayedtoreceive,pushvcshomerchandisingteam.

3.reviewdailyinspectionreportforanypackagingrelatedissue,discusswithfactoryandprovidefinalsolutiontoitwithinaday.

4.foranypackagingmaterialensurethatpriortoproduction,factoryorpackagingsuppliergetsapprovalfromyouorfromvcusoffice.anyapprovalneedstobesignedoffonitwithemailconfirmingtheapproval.

5.reviewredsealalongwithmerchandisingandadvicecommentsontheproductfrompackagingpointofview.

6.provideweeklyupdateonpackagingtovcusofficeandtovcshomerchandisingteam.

7.docommonfillingwithmerchandisingteam(softandhardcopy)–fillingneedstoincludepackaginginstructionandanyapprovalbeinggiventosupplier.

8.asandwhenneeded,assistvcusofficedevelopingpackaginginstructionsaccordingtopo,sketchandcustomer/sale’srequirements.

9.workcloselywithvcuspackagingteamonpackagingdevelopment,sampling,photographing

requirement:

•mustspeak,read,writeandtypeinbothmandarinandenglish

•mustknowhowtousephotoshop,illustratoraplus.

•musthavegreatorganizational,operationalandcommunicationskills

•mustbedetail-oriented

•greatfollow-upskills

•greatatfollowingdirections

•experiencedintranslatingenglishtomandarinforpackingdocuments/instructionswhenrelayinginformationtothefactories

•prefercandidatetocomefromhometextileindustry,withaminimumof1yearexperience-butwouldalsoconsideracandidatefromanotherconsumerproductscompanywherepackagingisinvolved

•mustbethorough/accuratewhenexplainingpacking/packaginginstructionstoourqcinspectors,sothattheycanaccuratelyinspectthatitisdoneaccordingtospecification
