现在分词和
过去分词用作宾语补足语,其结构为:主语+谓语+宾语+-ing/-ed。符合这个结构的谓语动词或结构主要用以下几种:1)感官类动词,常见的用:feel,find,hear,notice,observe,see,watch,listento,lookat,spot(看见),catch(看见,撞见)等。1.Icouldfeelthewindblowingonmyface.2.Sometimesshewouldlistentohimplayingthesaxophne.3.Backfromhistwo-yearmedicalserviceinAfrica,Dr.Leewasveryhappytoseehismothertakengoodcareofathome.4.Mr.Whitefoundhishometowngreatlychangedinthepast5years.
2)使役动词,常见的用:have,get,leave,keep等,make后面可以出现过去分词作宾语,没有现在分词作宾补现象.1.Thepeasantshadthetractorworrkingdayandnightattheharvesttime.
2.Thecaptaingotthesoldiersmovingtowardsthefrontafterashortrest.3.Hegothistoothpulledoutyesterday.4.Don’tleavethingsundonetilltomorrow.
5.Hehadhismoneeystolenwhileinthesupemarket.3)意欲动词want,like,wish,expect,wouldlike等可以接复合宾语,过去分词作宾补。1.I'dlikethejobdonewhenIcomebackfromthejourney.2.Themotherwantsherdaughtertaughtmusicinherfreetime.4.“with+宾语+过去分词”结构中,这一结构通常在句中作时间、方式、条件、原因、伴随等状语。1.Themurdererwasbroughtin,withhishandstiedbehindhisback.2.Withwaterheated,wecanseethesteam.3.Withthelocalleadingus,wesucceededingoingthroughtheforest.注意事项:1)两种分词在以上结构中区别:现在分词往往和宾语是主谓关系,而且动作往往是在进行中或状态在持续中。过去分词往往和宾语是动宾关系,动作也可以是完成状态。2)上述几种结构都可以变成被动句,此时的分词即可升级为主语补足语。1.SomeonefoundlittleTomlyingonthefloor.LitleTomwasfoundlyingonthefloor.2.Hemadehiswashingmachinerepairedyesterday.Hiswashingmachinewasmaderepairedyesterday.3)此类动词如interest,excite,surprise,amaze,astonish,frighten,terrify,satisfy,confuse,puzzle,tire,bore,exhaust,please,entertain,amuse,embarrass,worry,等在作补足语时,宾语是“人”,常用过去分词,宾语是“物”,常用现在分词。如:1.Thelawmadesomewould-bemother-in-lawworried.
2.Headdedsomedetailstohisnovelinordertoleavehisnovelmoreinteresting.3.Hefeltthenewteacher’steachingmethodboring.4)感官类和使役类动词以及with的复合结构中,也可以出现不定式作宾补,在
感官类和使役类动词后面的不定式作宾语表示全过程或一次性动作,to往往省略(除getleave等),变为被动句要还原to。在
with的复合结构中,不定式表示将来动作。1.Thestrictteacherhadusstudentsredoourhomeworkimmdiately.(have一般没有被动语态)2.IhaveseenMillagrowupfromchildhood,soIknowherquitewel1.Millahasseentogrowupfromchildhood,soIknowherquitewel.3.Withsomuchhomeworktodo,Ihavenotimetohangoutwithmyfriendsthisweekend.
