考核方式：考试预修课程：大学英语1教学参考书：郑树棠等.新视野大学英语读写教程.编外语教学与研究出版社.2008年12月.郑树棠等编.新视野大学英语视听说教程.外语教学与研究出版社出版.2008年12月.常小玲等编.新视野大学英语同步辅导.外语教学与研究出版社出版.2008年1月.李思国等编.新视野大学英语学习指导.外语教学与研究出版社出版.2008年6月.郑树棠等编.新视野大学英语教师用书.外语教学与研究出版社出版.2008年12月.开课单位：外国语学院第三英语教学部课程简介：大学英语（艺术类）课程是我校艺术类本科生必修的一门公共基础课程。根据《课程要求》制定的《教学大纲》符合我校艺术类学生的特点，其旨在改革传统的教学理念，以逐步建立起具有我校特色的、以学生为中心、以教师为主导、以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容，以外语教学理论为指导，并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。本课程总共含4个学期，每学期学完《新视野大学英语》（1-4册）中一册的配套教材（含综合教程、听说教程）。教学以各单元的讨论主题为基础，同时对学生进行听说读写等各种技能的训练。本门课程对学生知识、能力和素质的培养目标：通过两个学年的大学英语教学，使艺术类本科学生应用语言的能力在以下几个方面得到发展：1．词汇量领会式掌握3500个单词（其中复用式掌握1900个单词），以及由这些词构成的常用词组（包括中学阶段所学的单词和词组），并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。2．阅读能力能读懂语言难度中等的一般性题材的文章。掌握基本的阅读技能。一般阅读速度达到每分钟65个单词；快速阅读达到每分钟90个单词。3．听的能力能听懂英语讲课及简短会话、谈话和讲座，抓住中心大意、要点和有关细节，领会作者的观点和态度。听力材料难度低于课文、题材熟悉、基本上没有生词，语速为每分钟120词。4．说的能力能进行简单的日常会话，能就教材内容作简短问答和复述，能就熟悉的话题作简短发言。表达思想基本清楚，语音、语调基本正确。5．写的能力能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记、回答问题和写提纲，能就一定的话题或提纲在半小时内写出100词左右的短文，能写短信和便条，表达意思清楚，无重大语言错误。6．译的能力能翻译难度低于课文的英语文章，理解正确，译文基本达意，译速每小时250英语单词。能译出句子结构比较简单的汉语，译文达意，无重大语言错误，译速每小时200汉字。教学目的和要求第一章Time-ConsciousAmericans（10学时）熟练掌握精读课文(词汇，短语，文体)掌握阅读技巧：ReadingfortheMainIdeasinParagraphs掌握语法：Muchless&whereas4）写作训练：WriteaParagraphwithaStatementsupportedbySpecificdetailsandthereason5)听力训练：a)MakingInferencesb)ExpressingLikesandDislikes;MakingSuggestions教学重点和难点阅读技巧：ReadingfortheMainIdeasinParagraphs语法：Muchless&whereas写作:WriteaParagraphwithaStatementsupportedbySpecificdetailsandthereason听力技巧:a)MakingInferencesb)ExpressingLikesandDislikes;MakingSuggestions教学内容一、IntensiveReading（4学时）1．Detailedexplanationofthetext2．Usageofkeywordsandphrasesbudget
