Wearepleasedtopresentthefirstcriticalstepin

establishingthenewvisualidentityforLenovo.Belowyouwillfindabriefintroductiontothenewidentity,andinthefollowingpagesyouwillfindadditionalusageguidance

andlinkstokeyresourcefiles.

Itisimportanttonotethat,likeourbrandandtheworlditlivesin,thisguidancewillexpand,evolveandchangeovertime.Thisdocumentissimplythestartingline.Wewill

continuetoupdateitovertime,sopleasealwayscometothissitetoensureyouhavethemostuptodateversion.

ThisnewidentitycomesatacriticaltimeforLenovo.The

worldhaschangedsignificantlyoverthepastfiveyearsandasagloballeaderweneedtostayaheadofthisevolution.Todothis,weneedavisualidentitythatcanliveandthriveinthisexcitingworld.

Thestrategicfoundationforournewvisualidentityisourfundamentalbeliefthatliferewardsthosewhoneverstand

maintainaminimumclearspacearoundthelogo.Thisclearspaceisolatesthelogofromcompetinggraphicelementssuchasotherlogos,copyorphotographythatmaydivertattention.

Asillustratedbelow,theclearspacefortheLenovoLogoismeasuredbyusingthewidthofthe‘L’.

TheLenovologoretainsitsvisualstrengthinawiderangeofsizes.However,whenthelogoisreproducedtoosmall,itisnolongerlegibleanditsimpactisdiminished.
