Medicalstatisticscombinesthestatisticalprinciple,methodandmedicine.Itisthebasiccourseofmedicalscience.Accordingtotrainingobjectives,medicalstatisticsaimstodevelopstatisticalthinkingabilityandtomasterthebasicmethodtosortout,summarizeandanalyzethemedicalstatisticaldataofmedicalstudents.Theprinciplesofmedicalstatisticsarecombinedwiththeprinciplesoftheoryandpractice,whicharecloselyrelatedtothebasicstatisticalproblemsinmedicine.Thepurposeofthecourseistoenablestudentstomasterthebasictheoreticalknowledge,methodsandskillsofmedicalstatistics,andlaythenecessarystatisticalbasistoapplythemtomedicalpractice,carryoutscientificresearch,studyothercoursesandreadprofessionalbooks.
