过去分词作宾补和状语一、过去分词作宾语补足语接过去分词(短语)做宾语补足语的四类动词及特殊结构有:1.感官动词:feel,see,hear,watch,smell,taste,notice,observe,findetc.+sth./sb.+done。如:IheardthesongsunginEnglish.Ifoundallthewindowsbroken.NowwhenpeoplerefertoEngland,youfindWalesincludedaswell.2.表示“希望;要求”等意义的动词:want,wouldlike/love,wish,orderetc.+sth./sb.+done。如:Thepolice,findingthefilmunhealthy,ordereditbanned.WewanttheworkfinishedbySaturday.Hedidn’twishitmentioned.3.使役动词:make,get,haveetc.+sth./sb.+done。:如:Ihadmytaprepaired.(=Iaskedsomeonetorepairthetap.)……toformtheUnitedKingdombygettingIrelandconnectedinthesamepeacefulway.Hegothistoothpulledoutyesterday.【注意】have+sth./sb.+done的三种不同的含义:(1)“请/让/叫别人(为自己)做某事”,强调主语的意志。Wehaveourclassroomcleanedafterschooleveryday.(2)“受到;遭受”,表示一种经历。Shehadherhousedamagedinthestorm.(=Somethingbadhadhappenedtoherhouse.)(3)“使完成某事”,此事可以是别人完成的也可以是自己参与的。Shetoldmeshehadhadherhouserepaired.(=Shetoldmeherhousewasrepaired.)4.保持某种状态的动词:keep,leaveetc.+sth./sb.+done。如:Don'tleavethosethingsundone.要把那些事情做完.Pleasekeepyourmouthshutandyoureyesopen.5.特殊结构:with/without+名词/代词+done结构,分词done做名词或代词的宾语补足语。这一结构通常在句中作时间,方式,条件,原因等状语。

(1)Themurdererwasbroughtin,withhishandstiedbehindhisback.凶手被带进来了,他的双手被绑在背后。(表方式)

(2)Withwaterheated,wecanseethesteam.水一被加热,我们就会看到水蒸气。(表条件)

(3)Withthemattersettled,weallwenthome.事情得到解决,我们都回家了。(表原因)

(4)Shestoodinfrontofhim,withhereyesfixedonhisface.她站在他面前,眼睛注视着他.

(5)Hestoodforaninstantwithhishandstillraised.他仍然举着手站了一会儿.二、过去分词作状语1.过去分词作状语过去分词作状语表示被动的和完成的动作.(1)Writteninahurry,thisarticlewasnotsogood!【分析】written为过去分词作状语,表示这篇文章是被写的,而且已经被写。值得注意的是,有些过去分词因来源于系表结构。这样的过去分词及短语常见的有:lost(迷路);seated(坐);hidden(躲);lost/absorbedin(沉溺于);born(出身于);dressedin(穿着);tiredof(厌烦)等。Lost/Absorbedindeepthought,hedidn'thearthesound.因为沉溺于思考之中,所以他没听到那个声音.2.过去分词作状语时其逻辑主语为主句的主语,此时应注意人称要一致。(1)Givenanotherhour,Icanalsoworkoutthisproblem.再给我一个小时,我也能解这道题.(given为过去分词作状语,它的逻辑主语为主句主语I,即I被再给一个小时。)(2)Seenfromthetopofthehill,thecitylooksmorebeautifultous.从山顶看城市,城市显得更漂亮.(seen为过去分词作状语,表“被看”,由语境可知,它的逻辑主语必须是城市,而不是“我们”,即“城市被看”。)

3.过去分词作状语来源于状语从句,在句中作状语时,可表示时间,原因,条件,伴随,让步等。(1)Caughtinaheavyrain,hewasallwet.因为淋了一场大雨,所以他全身湿透了.(caughtinaheavyrain为过去分词短语作原因状语,它来源于原因状语从句Becausehewascaughtinaheavyrain.)

(2)Growninrichsoil,theseseedscangrowfast.如果种在肥沃的土壤里,这些种子能长得很快.(growninrichsoil为过去分词作条件状语,它来源于条件状语从句Iftheseseedsaregrowninrichsoil.【注意】状语从句改成过去分词作状语时有时还可保留连词,构成“连词+过去分词”结构作状语。
