Using sample of 393 domestic equity and bond fund managers that were replaced over the period 1979-1991, he finds Underperforming funds subsequently improve post-replac

21、ement performance with abnormal performance improving from -2.4% in the year before replacement to 0.5% in the third year after replacement.
