The oldest of these is the European Fireball Network (EFN), which dates back to 1951 and is operated by the Astronomical Instit

Now, the network uses 24 stateofthe-art digital cameras equipped with fisheye lenses (透镜) in 18 stations across Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia。 Two more stations, in Germany, are planned for later this year.The digital cameras take back-to-back photogr
21、aphs, with 35 second exposures, from dusk to dawn. Fisheye lenses allow a single exposure to cover the whole sky immediately above each camera.
