Jupiter also rotates,or spins,just as the Earth does. On the Earth,one spin takes 24 hours. But Jupiter spins very fast. It only takes ten
17、 hours for Jupiter to complete its spin. Jupiters surface cannot be seen from Earth. Many layers of dense clouds hide the planet. But scientists have ideas about what its surface is like. They think that Jupiter is a fluid planet. That means that it is mostly made of gas and liquid. The clouds that
18、surround Jupiter make light and dark stripes on the planet. One cloud is known as the Great Red Spot. This spot changes place from year to year. Scientists think that the spot maybe an intense storm. Jupiters clouds are very cold. They may be as much as 236 degrees below zero. But underneath the clo
19、uds,the planet is very hot. The temperature can climb to 34000 degrees,Some scientists say that lifeforms might be able to exist in Jupiters clouds. But that has not been proven yet. Jupiter has sixteen moons. Some of these moons are made of ice. Others seem to be made of rocks.Jupiter also has a th
