1、2005春开放英语II(1)期末复习指导开放英语(1)是中央播送电视大学的公共英语课,供本科(非英语专业)各类专业的学生学习,本课程教学内容共18个单元。根据本课程教学大纲,通过本课程的学习,学生应能掌握一定的英语语言根底知识和根本技能,具备一定的听、说、读、写能力:能掌握220()左右的常用词汇(包括英语I要求掌握的1600词),以及相关的常用词组;能够掌握并正确运用根本的语法知识;能够听懂日常生活中发音清楚、语速较慢的简短对话或陈述,并能用英语进行简短的日常交谈;能够阅读中等难度的一般题材的简短英文文字材料理解正确,井能够读懂通用的简短实用文字材料,如通知、介绍和广告等;能够写简短的应用文

2、,如日记、信函、通知等。本课程的重点是在加强英语语言根底知识和根本训练技能的同时,努力培养学生实际使用英语的能力,为下阶段的的学习打下根底。 为帮助学生复习本课程,特对期末复习作简要指导。一考核方式 本课程的考核采取两种形式:形成性考核20%和课程终结考核80%,课程总成绩为100分。形成性考核包括对“形成性考核及学习档案中作业的完成情况,参加面授辅导的情况及个人学习记录情况。英语(1)的课程终结考试(期末考试)包括听力和笔试两个局部。考试时间为120分钟。总分值为100分,其中听力局部20分,笔答局部80分。考试题型具体参见英语(1)课程考核说明及样题。二考核目标本课程的考核目标主要表达在以

3、下两方面:1 语言知识语法与功能:学生应能根本掌握并恰当应用所学的根本语法知识和语言功能,具体内容参见?开放英语3?的“内容概览。词汇知识:学生应能掌握2200词左右的常用词汇和相关的常用词组,具体词汇参见?开放英语3?的单元词汇表。2. 语言运用学生应能听懂发音清楚,语速较慢的简短对话或陈述;能够读懂与教材课文难度通用的简短实用文字材料,如通知,介绍和广告等;能写简短的应用文,如日记,信函,通知等。三.命题原那么本课程终结考试根据教材所函盖的语法工程,交际功能和词汇以及与教材难度相当的语言材料命题,涉及教材的内容不少于50%。四 试题结构详见?期末复习指导?P.2,主要考察学生的听,读,写的

4、能力以及对于本课程涉及的词汇,语法,句型,功能等的掌握和应用情况。五.下面就考题各局部的考察要点和复习方法介绍如下: 第一局部:听力理解 20分 这局部由两道大题组成:理解对话;理解段落。 考察要点:听力局部以教学大纲和教材所涉及的语言场景和语言功能结构为出发点,考察学生听懂大意和听取细节的能力。理解对话考察学生理解简单的事实性信息和进行简单推断的能力。要求考生根据所听到的10段简短对话从所给的3个选择项中选出一个能答复关于对话内容或场景的问题的最正确选项。每段录音材料放两遍。 理解对话要求学生能抓住句子或对话的主要意思和要点。只抓住了大概意思而没能抓住具体要点,不能到达充分的理解;、而只抓住

5、了某个细节而对整个句子或对话的主要精神不甚清楚,也不能完成对问题的答复。在理解对话题中,题目针对的主要是What,When,Where,Why和How这样的问题。理解段落题那么是要求学生在听完一段对话、独白或段落后对一组句子的正误进行判断。对话、独白或段落放两遍录音。同样,考察的是对大意和细节的把握。复习方法:要认真完成主教材和综合练习册的听力练习。教材中要求练习听的一定要认真去做,有困难的地方要找到困难产生的原因,反复多听。教材的听力内容要善于利用,除了模仿跟读以外,多从细节和大意上体会听力材料。此外,加强课外的听力练习对完成听力局部的试题也会大有好处,建议尽可能安排时间勤练多练。听力对话局

6、部的可能题型:1。时间题。主要问when/what time did/will/is?有可能要对时间进行加减。如:John is supposed to arrive at 6:30.But he is half an hour late.What time is it now?答案应选“seven Oclock.我们捕捉到6:30和half an hour late 这两个信息,并记在试题旁,然后通过简单计算,很容易得出结论。2.地点题。这类题要注意主要信息或信号词。如:Hotel: book a room, single room, double room,room service, re

He only took the fourth exam.6.推导题.主要问如:Would you like to go to the concert tonight?Id like to, but I have to prepare for the maths exam tomorrow.What does the woman mean?答案应是“不能去音乐会。根据有两个:一是but是转折词,应与前面意思相左;二是根据内容推导,她要准备考试,不能去听音乐会。简短对话及简短段落的听力测试题型除section A的

13、题型外,还有以下几种:1。细节题。主要问人名,地名,原因,时间,方法,数据,内容等。2。是非题。主要问which of the following is/is not true?3。主旨题。主要问whats the main idea of the passage?what does the passage mainly talk about?解题时应注意:1。要保持平稳的情绪和良好的心态。最好提前进场,稳定一下情绪,切忌紧张和恐惧。2。在每一 题之前先将选择项浏览一下,以便对试题内容和所属题型有个初步的预测,做好心理准备,增强信心。在听时,抓住信息词。如选择项为a.school b.hote

14、l c.airport d.restaurant那么可以断定这是地点题,因此要对与地点有关的词特别注意。3。听完对话之后不可松懈,还要继续注意听问题,听懂问题对答题是否正确起关键作用。4。如果听音结束后没有听懂内容,不要急,放下试卷,打个问号,不要影响后面答题。第二局部:英语知识运用局部 35分 这局部由两道大题组成:选择填空;完型填空。 考察要点:选择填空题要求学生根据句子或简短对话从每题所给的选项中选出最正确选项。这局部考察的是学生对教材所涉及的时态、语态、句型、词汇、固定搭配等内容的掌握以及是否能够熟练运用。完型填空题要求学生从每题所给的选项中选出最正确选项,使补足后的短文意思通顺、前后

15、连贯、结构完整。这局部考察的要点是对大纲要求的词汇和根本语法功能的掌握以及是否能够理解上下文的逻辑关系。复习方法:要认真掌握教材中的语言点,认真完成针对各个语言点的练习。除了对教材内的练习理解完成之外,还要能举一反三,灵活运用。教材中的内容概览,每单元最前面的学习目标和学后小结都能为你复习总结提供线索,帮你理清头绪。一.选择填空在复习中,应重点掌握的语法点: 1.各种时态根本构成,意义,用法,常用时态之间的区别,如比较一般现在时与现在完成时 一般现在时一般过去时现在进行时过去进行时现在完成时过去完成时现在完成进行时将来完成时下面就几道典型试题来做一些复习和分析:He said that he

27、词,连词等的使用。第三局部:阅读理解 30分这局部由三篇文章两种题型构成。 考察要点:阅读理解考察学生是否能把握总体和具体信息并做简单推理和判断,是对学生理解书面英语能力的综合考察。前两篇文章后有假设干选择题。要求学生根据所提供的两篇短文的内容从所给的4个选择项中选出最正确选项;第3篇短文后有五个句子,要求学生根据文章内容,判断所给句子信息是正确(T)错误(F)还是文章中没有涉及相关信息(NG)或对所给句子进行“正、“误、“未提及判断。复习方法:要求学生完成教材内的阅读练习,注意阅读方法和阅读技巧的培养。加强课外阅读训练,扩大词汇量。 请同学们熟悉教材内容,估计会有一篇阅读试题来自于教材。阅读

28、理解局部大致有三种考察题型:A.要旨题:考察考生是否掌握文章主题及大意,是否透彻理解全文topic/title,常见提问方式有:What is the main idea/subject/topic of the passage?What is the passage about?Which of the following can best sum up the passage?The main idea /central point of the passage.?The passage centers on the point that.?Which of the following i

29、s the best title for this passage?关键在于在语篇,段落中识别topic sentence.B. 细节题:注意寻找specific information,常见提问方式有:According to the passage, what/who/how long/how often.?Which of the following is NOT true/correct/mentioned/referred to.?All the following are (NOT) true /correct/mentioned referred to EXCEPT.?The a

30、uthor /passage states that /tells us that.?because.?这类题比较容易,一般可以从文章中找出相对应的句子,从中得到答案。一般来说,可以先读一遍文章,然后根据提出问题,一个一个地从文章的相应段落中找到答案。C. 词汇题:一般问“what does the word.refer to?what does “it stand for?我们可以运用猜测,构词法及上下文来进行推测及判断。D. 阅读判断题注意没有在文章中涉及的信息NG答复这类问题时一定要注意根据文章的内容来判断,而不要根据常识。一般来说,文章中没有提到的内容都不要选,与文章内容相悖的内容不要

31、选,剩下的那么是正确答案了。但要注意有时问which of the following is NOT true according to the passage?这时就要选与文章内容相悖的选项。E.推断题推断题不仅要理解句子外表的意思,而且要理解句子深层的隐含意思。这类题较难,要正确理解文章,把握其含义及所指。这类问题一般问What does the second paragraph imply?What can be inferred from the passage?What can we infer from the first paragraph?注意不要根据自己的想法臆测。第四局部:

32、写作 15分这局部要求考生根据题目要求写短文。 考察要点:书面表达题要求学生根据题目要求和内容提示完成短文的写作,考察学生是否能够正确理解写作意图,是否能够运用正确的语法、时态和恰当的表达方法完整地表达要求表达的内容。内容和形式在写作局部都非常重要。 复习方法:认真完成教材中的写作练习是非常必要的。写作是对语言素质的综合测试,写作表达了对语言根本知识的要求和对组织语言表达思想方面的更高的要求。同时,好的写作还表达了对英语表达习惯的把握。建议同学们在平常学习的时候多注意中英文在表达方式上的不同,多阅读,多模仿,多练笔。写作:按照具体要求标准书写,注意覆盖所有内容要点,语法结构和用词准确,句型和词
