He ran fast enough to catch the thief.enough (for sb/sth) to do sth ()足够做某事The

20、 watching TV the whole morning.keep sb/sth +形容词/地点状语 “让某人/某物保持某种状态”The kids keep me happy all the time. / He kept the dog in the cage.keep+形容词 “保持” Keep young and healthy. (3)go on 继续go on doing sth / go on with sth 继续做某事(同一件事情)go on to do sth 接着做另一件事情You should go on reading after a rest. 四、语法解读-一般

21、过去时一、一般过去时表示过去某一时候发生的动作或存在的状态。常与一般过去时连用的时间状语有:yesterday; -ago; last-; in 1990,etc.二、(一)be动词的一般过去时:肯定句 : 主语+was /were否定句: 主语+wasnt/werent一般疑问句: Was/Were+主语.?(二)there be 结构 -There was /were.(三)一般动词的过去时:肯定句 :主语+动词的过去时(规则或不规则)否定句:主语+didnt+动词原形 一般疑问句:Did+主语+动词原形He was in Beijing last week.There were many people in the room yesterday.He bought a house for his mother three days ago.四、语法解读-一般过去时三、练习1.The boy _h
