There are different ways to use words figurativel

Figures of Speech1.Simile明喻Simile is a figure of speech in which two essentially unlike things are compared, which is usually indicated by the word as, asas, as if, as though, or like.Figures of SpeechEmp.1.They are like streetcars running contentedly o

3、n their rails.2.He is as white as a sheet.3.The little boy jumped as if he had been stung.Figures of Speech2.Metaphor 暗喻Metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase that ordinarily designates one thing is used to designate another, thus making an implicit comparison.
