5、 training provided by Citilog.This document describes operation guidelines to properly install the Citilog SmartCam.Citilog systems have options that may or may not be activated on your system. This manual describes all functions available whether activated or not.The specific configuration of your

6、system may not allow the activation of those options. 14、 Running" status and no license is installed.在这个列表中能看到：应用名称，版本、供应商，”Not Running”未安装许可证状态显示Once, the software is correctly uploaded, the license needs to be uploaded and the application needs to be started. 只要这个软件正确上传，启动应用程序上传许可证2.1. GETTING A LICENSE KEY获取许可证Citilog will provide you a license c

15、ode once bought. The license code, together with the serial number of the target Axis device, is registered on Axis tech support page for compatible applications: -In return, you will get a License key that uniquely combines the Citilog application with the Axis de

16、vice. This License key is uploaded to the camera or video encoder to unlock the application. 2.2. INSTALLING LICENSE KEY安装许可证Note: User may use AXIS Camera Management. Please refer Axis documentation for further explanation. On the left menu, click on "SmartTraffic-x". (as following e

17、xample is: SmartTraffic-i)Click on "License".If the SmartCam has an access to internet, there are 2 possibilities to install the license: Manual installation or Automatic installation. If the SmartCam has no access to internet, there is only the Manual installation available.The license pa

18、ge tells you which license installation is available. For example, if there is no internet access, the page will be:Automatic installationManual installationYou should choose the "Automatic installation" if the SmartCam has access to internet and if you were given a license code that looks

19、 like:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXThen, enter the "License code", your email and click on the "Install" button.You should choose the "Manual installation" if the SmartCam has no access to internet or if you were given a license file with a "key" extension.Under &qu

20、ot;Manual installation", click on the "Choose" button, find and select the file with the "key" extension and then click on the "Install" button.If the license installation fails, you will see an error message. In this case, please contact Citilog.If the license ins

21、tallation is successful, you will have the following screen: 2.3. STARTING SOFTWAREOn left menu, click on "Applications". If the license installation succeeded, this time you should see "yes" under "license installed":Click on the application name "SmartTraffic-x&q

22、uot; in the list, and click on the "Start" button. After some time (it may require a reload of the page once or two) you should see the "Running" status.3. SMARTCAM CONFIGURATION3.1. SD CARD FILE SYSTEMBy default, when bought a SD card comes with a "vfat" file system, t

23、he Citilog software needs an "ext4" file system for transferring recording to the video server.The SD card file system can be changed by formatting it. In order to do so, you have to click on "System Options", then "Storage", on the left menu:The SmartCam will auto dete

24、ct the SD Card. Note: in case the column “Status” displays “no card”, It is recommended to use Internet Explorer to configure our cameras. To make sure that you will be able to see every function of the SmartCam configuration, please add the camera to the compatibility view list. To do this, please

25、follow these steps:- Connect to the camera in IE- Press the "Alt" key, so that the menu bar is being displayed.- Go to "Tools > Compatibility view Settings"- Add the IP address of the camera with a click on the "Add" button to the list.Now click on "SD Card"

26、;:If the "File system" is already "ext4", you can proceed to the next chapter.If the "File system" is "vfat" (as the above example), the SD card has to be formatted. To do so, click on the "Format" button:Set the "File system" to "ext4

27、 (recommended)" and click on the "OK" button. Please wait until the completion of the unmounting, formatting and mounting of the SD card. At the end, you should have:3.2. INCIDENT VIDEO CLIP CONFIGURATION1. Stream profiles definitionOn the left menu, click on "Video & Audio&q

28、uot;, then "Stream Profiles":By default, there are 4 profiles: Quality; Balanced; Bandwidth; Mobile.You can define one more for incidents recording by clicking on the "Add." button, or choosing a predefined one for incidents recording.If you choose to define a new one, the follow

29、ing interface will have to be filled up:Choose "H.264" for Video encoding.Reducing the resolution and/or increasing the compression will result in lighter incident recording, and will reduce the network bandwidth when copying incident recording to server.2. Action Rules configurationOn the

30、 left menu, click on "Events", then "Action Rules":For incident recording, you have to add an Action Rule by clicking the "Add." button.You are free to choose the "Name", the "Stream profile" and the "Post-trigger time", but all others case

31、s must match the ones on the previous screen-shot. The "Pre-trigger time" is the duration of the recording before the incident notification, and the "Post-trigger time" is the duration of the recording after the incident notification. Note: - The value of "Pre-trigger time&q

32、uot; must be at 30 sec. - About the “Post-trigger time, the value recommended is 150 sec. For example, if you choose 30 sec (pre) and 150 sec (post), you will get 3 min (180 sec) incident recording.Validate by clicking "OK".Now the SmartCam is ready to record when incidents occur.3.3. CTCL

33、OUD CONNECTION1. TCP/IP settingsIn order to ensure a proper communication with the CTCloud, you need to check that gateway and DNS server information is setup so the SmartCam can resolve the CTCloud url.To do so, click on the Basic Setup - TCP/IP: check that the “Default router” parameter has been s

34、etup to the local IP of the internet router providing internet access to the SmartCam (00 into our example)Then click on “advanced TCP/IP settings at the bottom of the window. Into the new window displayed, focus on the DNS configuration section. Check that “Use the following DNS server add

35、ress” radio button is ticked and that DNS server addresses (for example Googles ones) have been entered into Primary and Secondary DNS server fields.4. CITILOG MEDIASERVER CONFIGURATION Inside Citilog MediaManager, go to the “System” menu at the toolbar.Then click on "Setup Equipments":Cli

36、ck on "New Eqt":Enter the Ip Address, the Type "CAMERA_IP" and Model "AXIS_AIDCAM" ("AXIS_IPCAM" is for Axis camera not running Citilog detection software). Then click "Ok".Click in the cell in the "Settings" column for this new equipment:In this interface, you have to edit the following parameters:· "User", by default this is "root"· "Password", by default this
