1、Unit 1 How often do you exercise? 本单元学习的重点是如何使用频度副词谈论关于个人的生活习惯、饮食习惯等。从 Section A 的“What do you ? ”以及“How often do you ?”等句型的基本运用到Section B 中的综合运用,循序渐进,引出什么才是科学的膳食和生活习惯,并帮助学生养成良好的习惯。 针对这个单元的重点,难点,我打算把这个单元分为四个课时: 第一课时(Section A 1):从1a 的图片中的人物的活动引出各类活动的单词、词组,再扩展到现实生活中学生的活动,继而调查学生进行某项活动的频率。这样,学生就能在与老师和同

2、学的交谈中学会频率词的特定意义和用法。重点强调两句句型:1, What do you do on weekends?I often go to the movies. 2, How often do you exercise? Three times a day. 第二课时( Section A 2, 3 & 4):第二课时主要练习一些频度副词。通过调查和讨论,了解usually, always, sometimes, hardly ever, never 的细微差别,以及次数的表达方法,并学会熟练使用。 第三课时( Section B 1& 2):先复习Section A中的

3、各项活动,再添加这一部分的饮食,让学生利用前面已经熟练掌握的句型操练这一部分关于饮食的对话。 第四课时( Section B 3, Self check):完成这一部分的内容,同时添加了一些话题使课堂内容更加丰富。在完成阅读部分的过程中,先让学生谈谈各自的生活方式,由此引到课文内容,通过比较来提升话题。在Self check 中对本单元的重点词组再进行强调和总结,仿写文章,把课文内容真正转化成自己的知识。 第二课时Language Goal In this part students learn to talk about how often they do things.New langua

Now look at 2a.Step 2: Listening Get Ss to read the phrases in 2a. T: How often do you go to the movies? S1: I go to the movies twice a week. T: How

6、often do you watch TV? S2: I watch TV every day. T: You like watching TV very much. What about Cheng? This is an interview about Cheng usually does. Listen to the recording and number the activities in the order they talk about them in the interview. Let Ss listen to the tape and finish 2a. Then ask

7、 them to listen again and finish 2b. T: Now listen to the recording again. This time, please fill in the blanks.Step 3: Practice T: How often do you do these activities? Fill in the chart. You can use the words in activity 2a if you need help. Ask two Ss to read the sample conversation. T: Now make

8、conversations like this about the activities in 2c. Ask a few pairs of students to present their conversation to the class.Step 4: Reading and writing Get Ss to read the magazine article in Section A 3 . T: This survey shows the students activities at Green High School. Look at the chart, from that,

9、 we can know that about ninety-five percent of students do homework every day. Please tell me something else about the chart, and then fill in the blanks in the article. Check the answers.Step 5: Survey and discussion Divide Ss in groups of four and make a survey about “ Do you exercise every day?” Then discuss the results of the survey and report them to the class: “ Who has the best lifestyle?”S
