1、Module 8 Public holidaysUnit2 As soon as it s 12 ocloc数学设计吴忠市第四中学 王佳琪一、教学内容本模块以节假日为话题， 通过学习了解部分中外节日的名称以及庆祝的方式并掌握时间状语从句的使用。 本课主要通过对文章的阅读来了解在纽约人们如何庆祝新年，并巩固由as soon as， before， while 以及 when 引导的时间状语从句。引导学生对所学知识进行迁移，能够表达中国人庆祝新年的方式。二、教学目标1知识目标1）正确理解并使用以下单词：名词：ending， beginning， resolution， list动词：promise

2、词组： all over， depend on， count down， get together， a list of ， help out， go out for a walk, make resolutions, in the same way2）语法：语法方面能够掌握由while， before， when， as soon as 等连词的引导的时间状语从句。2 技能目标1）听：能通过简单记录的方式抓住听力材料中的细节信息；2）说：能够谈论在纽约人们如何庆祝新年；3）读：能读懂关于节假日的文章；能抓住文章的主题和细节信息；4）写：能根据自己的情况写出新年的决心；5）演示与表达：能向同学

3、介绍中国的春节。3. 情感目标培养学生跨文化交际意识， 通过比较中西文化的差异， 能尊重别国的风俗习惯，并更加热爱本国文化。三、教学策略Pre-reading ：图片欣赏，引入相关话题。While-reading ：小标题与段落匹配练习，引导学生进行速读；在学生阅读每段后，设置不同形式的任务让学生完成，强化语言知识，积累语言素材。Post-reading ：完成表格，把握文章脉络，并进行知识迁移，进而提升学生的写作能力。四、教学过程Step 1 ： Presentation1.
