2、function(功能和作用) This is the last unit of the book. It divided into six parts: Lets learn, Lets talk, Lets spell, Read and write, Lets check and Story time. It mainly talks about the nature park, its a life topic. This topic is based on the sentence patterns in the fifth unit. The students can combin

3、e the old and new knowledge, and they will use the language flexibly by the rolling accumulation.2. Teaching objectives(教学目标) Knowledge objectives: Students are able to learn some new words: mountain, hill, forest, river, and lake and sentences “Is there a river in the forest? Yes, there is. /No, th

4、ere isnt.” Ability objectives (1) Students are able to use sentence patterns in situations. “Is there.? Yes, there is./No, there isnt.” (2)Students are able to correctly understand the passage with the help of the pictures, read the passage with correct pronunciation and intonation and cultivate stu

5、dents' comprehensive ability of language useEmotion objectives Cultivate students' love of nature and enhance students' awareness of environmental protection。3. Teaching key points and difficult points(教学重难点) Key points: Students are able to learn new words: mountain, hill, forest, river

But they are very interested i

Whats more, they like activities and have strong desires to showTeaching methods(教法): Situational communicative approach, intuitive presentation method, task based teaching met

8、hod, etc.Learning methods(学法): Carry out listening, speaking, reading, playing games ,other activities and group cooperative method to stimulate interest。Teaching aids(教具):PPT, flowers、cards。The analysis of the teaching procedures and ways(教法分析):(一)The thick English atmosphere(浓)1. Lead inThe teache

9、r shows a picture and asks some questions. eg: T:“Who is she? Can you guess?”Ss: Its you.T: Yes, its me. Im in a park. Where did you go, boys and girls ? Can you tell me?Ss: I went to West Lake, Zhang Jiajie nature park and so on in Chinese. T: Now Im a guide, lets go. Then the teacher let students

10、watch a video and answer: Whats in the park? Students answer mountain, hill, lake, river and forest in Chinese.(In this step, the purpose of this part is to close the distance between teachers and students by the topic they are interested in, so the students quickly integrated into the English learn

11、ing atmosphere.)(2) Presentation The teacher shows some pictures of forest, mountain, hill, lake and river and teaches them by many kinds of ways.Activities: how many fingers how many times; low and high voice; rising and falling tone,boys act the teacher and girls act students. and so on . By pract

12、icing, words and sentences combine, students can understand the use of “Is there?”. (The purpose of this part is that students are highly concentrated and their learning is also with high enthusiasm through competitions, games ,etc,)(二)The interesting English class(趣)Practice1. If the teacher points

13、 a picture, students should say a sentence with “ Is there a .?” eg: A: Is there a river in the park? B: Yes, there is. No, there isnt. If a student answers a question correctly, he or she can get a flower. (The purpose of this part is to train students their own spoken English by competitions, so t

14、he class will be very interesting.)2. Students draw a nature park and describe it A group of students describe their park with sentence pattern “Is there a in the park? Yes, there is. No, there isnt.”(The purpose of this part is to cultivate students' cooperative consciousness.)(三)The lively cla

15、ss activity(活)ConsolidationLets talk is a class activity.1. Listen to the tape and finish lets try.2. Students imitate the dialogue of Lets talk. 3. Role play. First boys act Zhangpeng and children, and girls act Miss White with correct pronunciation and intonation. Then ask two pairs to act the dia

16、logue.4. Tour guide. One student acts a tour guide and others act visitors. The tour guide introduces the place by using the language that he or she has learned.( The purpose of this part is to let students talk about the nature park freely by combining words, sentences and text. So they will feel a

Protect the environment.(The purpose of this part is to let students know protecting environment is very important.)(四)The tidy class organi

18、zation(紧)The teacher organizes the class step by step.1. First, lead into the class by presenting new words and teach the new sentence pattern “Is there a ? Yes, there is. No, there isnt.” 2. Second, listen to the tape and imitate the dialogue.3. Third, practice the main dialogue by many kinds of ways. (The purpose of this part is to check the knowledge students have learned and improve listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.).
