(What)间接引语间接引语当我们引用别人的话时,我们可以用他的原话,也可以用自己的话把意思转述出来,如果是引用原话,被引用的部分就是直接引语,用引号。Mr. Harmsworth, I said in a weak voice.Dont interrupt, he said.把直接引

10、语变为间接引语时,可用动词say, tell,后面可跟人名或者代词,然后以that引导出意思(宾语从句)。在动词say后,that可省略。After I had sat down, he said that business was very bad. He told me that the firm could not afford to pay such large salaries. 间接引语间接引语在转变时,有几点需要注意:引语中的动词要与主句动词时态上一致。I never work on Sundays, she said. She said (that) she never wor

11、ked on Sundays. 她说她星期天从来不工作。根据意思改变人称,如: I am busy, he said. He said (that) he was busy. 他说他很忙。间接引语间接引语如果引述动词是过去时, 引语应该作相应的变化:一般现在时改为一般过去时:“I never work on Sundays,” she said. She said that she never worked on Sundays. 现在进行时改为过去进行时: “It isnt raining,” she told me.She told me that it wasnt raining. 一般

12、将来时改为过去将来时: “ Ill tell you a funny story,” she said. She said that she would tell me a funny story. 间接引语间接引语如果引述动词是过去时, 引语应该作相应的变化: 现在完成时改为过去完成时: She told me, “I have finished my work.”She told me that she had finished her work.间接引语间接引语祈使句的否定形式直接加not,并作相应调整Dont interrupt, he said. He told me not to
