4、 lovely.T: Can you describe it for us?Ss: It has two big eyes, a little mouth.T: What other animals do you like?Ss: tigers/ cats/ monkeys.T: There is a new zoo in our city. Lets go to see animals, shall we?Ss: Ok.设计意图:教师通过谈论家庭宠物,自然过渡到动物的话题,同时通过语言的渗透,让学生自然明白,在谈论动物时我们要用到哪些语句,主动向学生输入语言素材。同时利用动物园的形式,向学生

5、展示出我们要学的动物的名称。Step 2 Presentation(利用多媒体课件展示动物园中的图片)T:Look at the picture, Whats this?(出示一张一个老虎的图片)Ss: Its a tiger.T: What are they?(出示两个或两个以上老虎的图片)Ss: They are tigers.Read the word together. (学习新单词,注意单复数和冠词的使用)T:Do you want to see tigers?(want to do sth.)Ss: Yes, we do.T: Why do you want to see them

6、?Ss: Because they are interesting./cute/lazy/smart/beautiful/scaryT:Can you describe the tiger?Ss: Yes, The tiger is tall and big, it can eat many little animals. T:Where are they from? Do you know? (为后面的听力材料做铺垫)Ss: They are from China/South Africa.以此类推,让学生逐渐学习新单词,并且让他们熟知句型结构。同时扩充学生的形容词词汇积累,用其描述所展示的

7、动物。Step3 practicing1. Show some pictures of animals on the screen. Then the teacher makes conversations with studentsE.g T: Lets see the animals . What animals do you want to see? S1: I want to see lions. T: Why do you want to see them? S1: Because they are interesting.2. Then let others make simila

8、r conversations and act them out in class. 设计意图:根据前面所学过的名词和形容词,模仿老师与一位同学的对话,和同伴们根据屏幕中的出示的动物名称和形容词来编织自己的对话。 Step 4 listening and writing 1.Show the conversations in 1c on the screen ,but some words in it have missed and according to the listening , fill in the blanks.Eg: (1)Girl: Lets _ the_ first. Girl: Because theyre _2. Listen again and check the answers.3. Read it after the tape.设计意图:练习听力,进一步扩充语言的输入量,同时强调所学

10、句型中的重点的地方,如lets +动词原形、句型中的动物名称及形容词的拼写,即突破本节课的重点。Step 5 Listening and writing1 .Listen and write the animals you hear. Draw a line from the animals to the description words and the countries they are from. Animals Description words Countries2. Listen again. Complete the conversation with the words in

Then read it together.设计意图:因为课前教师的导入部分,大部分都使用了听力中的句型,经过前面的练习,学生已基本掌握了大部分的内容,所以本听力实际上是做为一个课堂检测。用任务来驱动学生的学习进
