6、ch a competitive area, being a successful researcher or theoretician, sage Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, Marie Curie, or Gregor Mendel, cannot be a simple matter of luck. So what are the other indispensable characteristics that helped them to achieve so much and how did they utilize these inborn or

7、 learned traits? Only by knowing the answer can we sincerely appreciate their contributions and maybe even define a successful life direction for ourselves. After all, as a sports lover, I am quite eager to know if there are some special training techniques that the most successful sports stars use.

The third important quality of a good roommate is that he should be a hard worker, and have the desire to do better. As we know, roommate

Thirdly, space exploration is a long-term project, but the threat of some problems on Earth is immediate. If we do not solve our environmental and health p

In short, although space exploration is a valuable endeavor and should be supported, it should not receive all the money available. There are many other areas of research and development on earth that also require fund

Secondly, even if there did exist some way to evaluate a single students academic performance, it would still be impossible to decide the tea

28、chers salary based on that. As a teacher, they certainly have more than one student, and the students they teach may vary widely in their capacity for learning. History provides us with numerous examples of this Confucius, an ancient Chinese philosopher, taught 3,000 students, only 72 of whom are of

29、 any historical note. Socrates, the famous Ancient Greek philosopher, also had countless students during his life, but only one, Plato, is still widely known today. How, also, do we calculate how much should have been paid to Confucius or Socrates? Neither the prominent students nor the mediocre one

30、s can provide an impartial answer. Besides academic knowledge, teachers also have the indispensable responsibility of teaching moral virtues to students. If we put too much emphasis on knowledge alone, there may arise some unwanted extreme situations. A teacher might be so hungry for a raise that he

31、/she only focuses on academic teaching and neglects to instill moral virtues, which not only would do harm to the individual students, but also put the whole society in danger in the long run, because the development of a society depends on both knowledge and moral values. In conclusion, though nowa

32、days the society might be a little wealth-focused, it still can not link a teachers pay with how much his/her students learn for lacking feasibility and real meaning. If it is inadequate to assess a teacher based on the academic achievements of their students, it is impossible to assess the morality

33、 of their students, as morality cannot be tested in a classroom but can only be tested in real life situations and interactions.
