(3) a bit 表示表示“稍微,一点儿稍微,一点儿”,用作副词,可以修饰动词以及形容词、,用作副词,可以修饰动词以及形容词、 副词的原级、比较级,此时相当于 a little. e.g. Im a bit thirsty. I thought she smiled a bit. Key po

13、ints of the dialogue 1)在肯定句中修饰形容词时,a bit 与a little 意思相同, 表示“有点”, 可以互换。 e.g. I felt a little/ bit tired after a long walk. 2) 修饰不可数名词时,表示“一点,一些,少量的”, a little 可直接加 不可数名词,但a bit 不可以直接跟不可数名词,需用 a bit of 短语。 e.g. I had a bit of / a little rice for lunch. 3) not a bit 与not a little 意思完全相反,not a bit 表示“一点

14、也不”, = not at all, not a little 表示“非常”,相当于 very. e.g. Im not a bit tired. He was not a little angry. 扩展 5. Well, my chocolate cookies are done now. 句子中be done 表示“做好了,完成了”。 e.g. The dinner is done. (1)be sure 为固定短语,意为“确定 ”, 其后常接that 引导的宾语从句。 e.g. Were sure that he is right. Im sure that Karen will pass the exam. (2)be sure of / abou

16、t 意为 “对 有把握” be sure to do 意为 “一定做 ” e.g. Im not quite sure of this. He is not so sure about his plan. Be sure to come tomorrow. 8. Good, everything tastes so sweet! Everything 作不定代词,可在句中作主语、宾语、表语。作主语时, 谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式。 e.g. Everything is ready. (作主语) I want to know everything about it. (作宾语) Money i
