Different Situati ons Call for Different Things Our own Whitson Gordon says ebooks all the way, but still make

9、s a solid case for times whe n a paper book is ideal: rm an ebook guy through and through, but my fian cee has a p retty good argume nt for buying p hysical books at least sometimes. If youre going to the pool or the beach and want to bring a book, its a lot easier to bring a p hysical book, since y

10、ou can leave it alone (to go swimming or whatever) without worrying about it getting stolen. Cant do that with a $100 Kin dle. 14、couple of items on her list that help her determ ine which to buy: For me, it depends on the book how visual it is (gra phic no vels I like in paper format), whether rm more likely to race through it (a good novel) or lin ger and bounce around (po etry), how big it is (I wish the giga ntic Robert Mo

15、sesbook was in eBook form), and how well the text was translated to Kindle (I heard bad things about the Gameof Thrones digital versions, so went with paper for that). Some Prefer the Feel and Utility of Paper Books I person ally think the weight and feel of a paper book is hard to beat most of the time, and Charis agrees: I amstill a total paper boo

21、fer them. Others Think People are Just Being Nostalgic I may be one of those weirdos that likes the smell of a book, but not every one thinks the sameway.
