Taras shorter than Tina.三、学情分析 八年级二班共有学生37人,其中男生17人,女生20人,学生两极分化非常严重,尖子生有七八人,中间段五六人,尾巴特别大,大部分学生学习信心不足,兴趣不大,学习气氛比较沉闷。因此,在新学年里,如何提高学生学习的积极性,挖掘他们的潜力是本学期教学的关键。四、教学准备Teaching AidsA tape recorder.A projector.Some objects.五、教学过程Step I Greet the class as usual and check the homework.Step II Make a simple drawing of a boy and a girl on the blackboard.Judy is tall.Judy is taller than Bobby.Then bring out two rules of different length. Say:This is ruler. Its Bobbys ruler.(longer)This is Judys ruler.(long)Bobbys ruler is longer than Judys.Step III Show some new words on the blackboard.Read the new words to students and ask them to repeat.Step IV 1a Ask students to do this activity individually. Taras shorter than Tina.Then have students work with a partner.Make conversations work with a partner.Step VII 2aRead the words in the box to students.Funny 有趣的 serious 严肃的Outgoing (性格)外向的 quiet 安静的Tell students smart and athletic are new words. Explain the new words and tell students what they mean.Step VIII2bAsk students to look at the boxes with the headings. Tina , Tara Listen to the recording again. This time write how Tina and Tara are different.Please write words in the boxes.Step IX Summary and HomeworkToday weve leant the twins are having a concert. Weve leant how to compare people.
