Lesson 12Guess My Hero!教学整体设计【教学目标】1.能准确地发音和使用crossword,puzzle,based,whom,anybody,chemistry等词汇。能够掌握On Monday,Ms.Liu asked us to make crossword puzzles based on facts about our heroes.I thought it would be fun because I did a lot of crossword puzzles when I was in Canada.I thought about it as I walked to and from school.My hero wouldnt be anybody famous.It would be somebody who I like very much.等句子。2.能够运用before,after,as,that引导的复合句。3.读懂有关名人的文章,明白文章主旨大意和掌握理解文章结构的技能。4.能用before,after,as引导的时间状语从句和that引导的定语从句进行表达。【教学重难点】重点:掌握本课的词汇和短语。难点:掌握状语从句和定语从句的运用。【课前准备】多媒体课件,录音机,实物投影仪 教学过程设计 教学过程一、创设情境,切入主题Step 1Leadingin在本环节中,让学生想想自己心目中的名人英雄是谁,老师展示各个行业名人的图片,学生互动,通过对话询问学生喜欢的名人是谁,他/她来自哪里,因为什么而出名等问题。学生回答优秀的给其所在的小组加分。T:Boys and girls,in this procedure,you will revise some new words and do pair work to practice the sentences:Who is your hero? Where was he born?What is he famous for?Then I will show you some pictures.You will ask and answer questions like this:S1:Who is your hero?S2:Zhang Haidi.S1:Where was she born?S2:She was born in China.S1:What is she famous for?S2:She is famous for fighting against illness and helping others.Ask some pairs to act out their dialogues in front of the class.设计意图:通过多媒体屏幕向学生展示名人的图片,学生互动,想象自己心目中的英雄,极大地引起了学生的兴趣,谈论自己心目中英雄的事迹,自然导入本课话题。二、展开过程,探究新知Step 2:PrereadingT:OK,we have talked about your own hero.Now we will learn the following new words:crossword,puzzle,based,whom, anybody,chemistry.And this will help you to learn the lesson. Are you ready?Ss:Yes!T:Please read after me.(The Ss follow the teacher two times)(给学生几分钟的时间背诵)设计意图:向学生呈现本课的生词,为下面学习课文做好充分的准备,学生互动,再次为下面的阅读做准备。Step 3:WhilereadingTask 1 Read the lesson and answer the questions of Exercise 1 on Page 29.学生快速读课文,读完后,分小组到黑板分别写下4个题的答案,每题只限一个小组回答。Task 2 Read the article aloud after the recorder.教师播放课文视频,播放一句,暂停一次,学生观看视频并跟读课文。设计意图:本活动设计在读课文之后,学生对课文内容已经有了一定的了解,跟着视频大声朗读课文可以加深对文章的理解,并且对于学生准确的发音以及培养他们的语感有重要的作用。Task 3Work in group of 8 to deal with the key words,phrases and sentences.教师把学生分为8人一组,学生通过合作探究,找出大屏幕上出现的重点句子,并学习。the key words,phrases and sentences:1. On Monday,Ms. Liu asked us to make crossword puzzles based on facts about our heroes.星期一的时候,刘老师让我们以偶像事迹为基础做纵横谜。crossword puzzles 纵横谜be based on.建立在的基础上2. I thought it would be fun because I did a lot of crossword puzzles when I was in Canada.我觉得会很有趣因为我在加拿大的时候做过很多纵横谜。句子结构:本句是一个非常复杂的复合句。整个句子是由because引导的原因状语从句。主句I thought it would be fun.又是一个that引导的宾语从句,that省略;从句I did a lot of crossword puzzles when I was in Canada.是由when引导的时间状语从句。3.I thought about it as I walked to and from school.我在上学和放学的路上一直思考它。句子结构:本句是由as引导的时间状语从句,as意为“当的时候”。4.My hero wouldnt be anybody famous.我心目中的英雄不会是著名的人。anybody famous著名的人。anybody是不定代词,当形容词修饰不定代词时,形容词要后置。5.It would be somebody who I like very much.它会是我非常喜欢的人。句子结构:本句是一个由who引导的定语从句。who I like very much作somebody的后置定语。6.
