2、 metre in size 面积约 91,000 平方米have an area of over 占地面积超过the capital of japan 日本的首都重点句型：there be sb./sth. doing sth .本课重点：(一）基数词(cardinal numbers)数词分为基数词和序数词。基数词表示数目，序数词表示顺序。基数词的构成1 表示数目多少的数词叫做基数词。2 表示1-12为独立的单词，各有各的形式。(详见课本p11)3 表示13-19的基数词均以-teen 结尾。(详见课本p11)4 表示20-90之间的“整十”基数词都以-ty结尾 (详见课本p11)5 表示

3、“几十几”的基数词：先说“几十”，再说“几”，且十位和个位之间要加连词符。如： 22: twenty-two 99: ninety-nine6 101-999之间的非整百的基数词，读法为：百位与十位(或个位)之间用 and连接。如: 156 one hundred and fifty-six 709 seven hundred and nine7 四位数或四位数以上的基数词：拼写规律为：从右向左每三位加一个逗号，第一个逗号前用thousand, 第二个逗号前用 million, 第三个逗号前用 billion，读数时从左向右依次读出。如：4,895 four thousand eight hu

5、ge 100 lesson twelve4. 表示时刻 e.g. two oclock twenty past three5. 确数与概数确数：基数词+计数单位的单数（hundred, thousand, million, billion）+名词复数。e.g. six hundred students概数： 计数单位的复数（hundreds, thousands, millions, billions）+of +名词复数e.g. thousands of books 6. “整十”的基数词用于表示几十年代或者某人几十多岁时。 e.g. in the 1960s 20世纪60年代 in his
