Continuingenthusiasmfromlastyear,generativeAIworkloadssawthe

biggestYoYgrowthandnowranksasthesecond-mostutilizedworkload

afterdataanalytics.HalfofmanagementrespondentsindicatedthattheirfirstgenerativeAIserviceorapplicationhadalreadybeendeployed,withanadditional28percentplanningdeploymentwithinthenextsixmonths.

PerNVIDIA’sexperts,techniqueslikedomain-adaptivepretraining,

fine-tuning,andretrieval-augmentedgeneration(RAG)arenowbeing

to46percent.Financialservicesorganizationsareusingsyntheticdatatotrainfrauddetectionandidentityverificationmodelstorecognizenewthreatvectorsandfraudpatterns.Theuseofcodeassistanceandsoftwaregenerationagentswasrecordedat44%inthisfirstyearofmeasurement,demonstratinghow

costswithAI.Almostallsurveyrespondentsbelievethatthere’sROIforAI,withmanagementparticularlyoptimistic.Morethan80percentofmanagement-levelrespondentspredicteda2xormorereturnonAIinvestments,indicatinggrowingconfidenceinAIandarealizationofAI’sfinancialbenefits.
