decidedtocollectasmanyschoolsuppliesaspossible,andmakethemintokits-onekit,onechild.

Themostrewardingdayforourgroupwasprojectday,whenalltheeffortsweputinto

collectingtheitemsfinallycametogether.WhenIsawthevarioussupplieswehadcollected,ithit

methateverykitweweretobuildthatdaywouldeventuallybeinthehandsofanIraqichild.Over

thepastfourmonths,IhadneverimaginedhowIwouldfeelonceourprojectwascompleted.While

makingthekits,IrealizedthatIhadlostsightofthetruemeaningbehindit.Ihadonlyfocusedon

thefactthatitwasanotherschoolprojectandoneIwantedtogetagoodgradeon.Whenthekits

werecompleted,andreadytobesentoverseas,thewarmfeelingIhadwasoneIwouldnever

forget.
