tingitorsuppressingoveractiveimmuneresponses,canbebeneficialforpeoplewithHIV/AIDSTherapeuticvaccinesVaccinesdesignedtostimulatetheimmunesystemtorecognizeandattackHIVaffectedcellsarebeingdevelopedandtestedMonoclonalantibioticsThesearelaboratoryproducedmoleculesthatcanbindtospecifictargetsonHIV,blockingitsabilitytoaffectcellsImmuneBasedTherapyPreventivevaccinesAlthoughthereiscurrentlynovaccineavailabletopreventHIVinfection,researchisongoingtodevelopeffectivevaccinesPreexposuremethodology(PrEP)ThisinvolvestheuseofantimicrobialdrugsbypeoplewhoareathighriskofHIVinfectionbutarenotyetaffected,toreducetheirriskofacquiringthevirusVaccinesandPreventiveMeasuresPostexposureprophylaxis(PEP)PEPinvolvestakingantiviraldrugsimmediatelyafterpotentialexposuretoHIV,toreducetheriskofbecomingaffectedSafesexpracticesConsistentuseofconventions,avoidingmultiplesexpartners,andothersafesexpracticesarecriticalforpreventingthetransmissionofHIVVaccinesandPreventiveMeasures05ChallengesandFuturePerspectivesAsignificantchallengeinthetreatmentofAIDSistheemergencyofdrugresistantstrainsofHIVThisoccurswhenthevirusmutatesandbenefitsarelessresponsivetoantiviraltherapy(ART),thestandardtreatmentforHIV/AIDSDrugResistanceWhileARTiseffectiveatsuppressingHIVreplicationandreducingtheriskofAIDSrelatedcomplications,itcanalsocausearangeofsideeffectsThesemayincludenausea,invoicing,diarra,fatigue,headache,andrashInsomecases,thesideeffectsmaybeseveralenoughtorequireachangeinmedicineorevendiscussionoftreatmentSideEffectsofARTDrugResistanceandSideEffectsofARTVSPeoplewithAIDSareatincreasedriskofacquiringotherinfectionsduetotheirweakenedimmunesystemsCommoncoinfectionsincludetuberculosis,hepatitisC,andvariousopportunisticinfectionssuchaspneumocystispneumoniaandcytolegalovirusComorbiditiesInadditiontocoinformation,peoplewithAIDSmayalsobufferfromotherchronichealthconditionsorcomorbiditiesThesecanincludecardiovasculardisease,diabetes,kidneydisease,andmentalhealthdisorderssuchasdepressionandanxietyCoinformationCoperceptionsandComorbiditiesinAIDSPatientsResearchersarecontinuouslyworkingtodevelopnewdrugsthataremoreeffectiveatsuppressingHIVreplicationandhavingfewersideeffectsthancurrenttreatmentsWhilethereiscurrentlynovaccineavailabletopreventHIVinfection,researchersareactivelypursuingvaccinedevelopmentasalongtermstrategyforcontrollingtheAIDSepidemicInadditiontodrugdevelopmentandvaccineresearch,scientistsarealsoexploringnewtherapeuticstrategiesfortreatingHIV/AIDSTheseincludegenetherapy,immunebasedtherapies,andcellulartherapiessuchasstemcelltransplantsNewDrugDevelopmentVaccineResearchTherapeuticStrategiesOngoingResearchandDevelopmentEfforts06ConclusionandSummaryHIVinfectionsanddestructionCD
