一般在词尾直接加-er。如：long→longer，strong→stronger②

以e结尾的词词尾只加-r。如：late→later，nice→nicer③

重读闭音节词的词尾只有一个辅音字母时，先双写该辅音字母，再加-er。如：fat→fatter，thin→thinner④

结尾的双音节词，先把“y”改为“i”，再加-er。如：heavy→heavier，funny→funnier⑤

good（好的）→better（更好的）；well（好）→better（更好地）；bad（坏的）→worse（更坏的）；badly（坏；糟糕地）→worse（更坏；更糟糕地）；many/much（多的）→more（更多的）；little（少的）→less（更少的）；far（远的）→farther/further（更远的）2.形容词和副词的比较级的用法表示两者（人或事物）的比较。在“比较级＋than”的句型中，当than前后所使用的动词相同时，通常用助动词代替后面的动词。该动词或助动词可以省略。Heisyoungerthanme.他比我小。Shesingsbetterthanhe（does）.她唱得比他好。Hejumpshigherthanhiselderbrother.他跳得比他哥哥高。注：在形容词和副词的比较级前，可以用much，alittle等修饰，如：muchbetter，alittletaller。3.原级比较（1）由“A＋as＋形容词＋as＋B”或“A＋as＋形容词＋名词＋as＋B”构成。（2）其否定式为：“A＋notso/as＋形容词＋as＋B”或“A＋notso/as＋形容词＋名词＋as＋B”。as…as意为“和……一样”，表示同级的比较。使用时要注意第一个as为副词，第二个as为连词。①Thisfilmisasinterestingasthatone.这部电影和那部电影一样有趣。
