常用的修辞手法有:夸张(Exaggeration)、明喻(Simile)、暗喻(Metaphor)、拟人

(Personification)>平行法(Parallelism)、头韵(Alliteration)、对比(Contrast)、矛盾修辞法

(Oxymoron)>双关(Pun)、移情(Empathy)等。对于高中生来说,最好能通过例句,结合

Metaphor也是也叫隐喻,是简缩了的明喻,但不用比喻词like或as作对比,是将某一

事物的名称用于另一事物,通过比较形成,从而更生动,更深刻地说明事理,增强语言

的表现力。例如:她是个天使。(Sheisanangel.)是暗喻;而她像天使般天真无邪。。(Sheis

asinnocentasanangel.)是明喻。

明喻Simile是一种最常见的修辞方法,是以两种具有共同特征的事物或现象进行对比,

表明本体和喻体的关系,常用的明喻标志词有like,as,seem,asif,asthough,similarto等。

雪像地毯一样厚。

昨晚我睡得像木头。
