time,noneofthelightbulbscreatedwerereadytobesoldtothepublicforeverydayuse.Then,in1878,ThomasEdison
mademoreprogress.Hespentalotoftimeresearchingwhatpreviousscientistshaddone.Heandhisteamspentyears
