a."正当……的时候”（动词可短暂，可延续）

b.“随着”

模块三1条件状语从句

常用连接词：because,since,as等。

语势最强用来说明直接的原因，回答why提出的问融当主句为否定句时，从句because

与主句间有无逗号，意思不同。

>Ididn'tinvitehim,becauseIwantedtoborrowsomebooks.

—我没有去拜访他，因为我想要去借几本书

>Ididn'tinvitehimbecauseIwantedtoborrowsomebooks.

—我并不是想要向他借书才去拜访他的

2.since

“既然，由于”表示对方已知的、无须加以说明的既成事实的理由，只是一个附带说明，

如从句表示的原因不是确定的事实，通常用becauseo

>Sinceeverybodyishere,lefsbegin.

>Hemusthavetakenthebooksinceitisn'there.

3..as

“由于，因为”，表示十分明显的原因，所引导的从句常位于主句之前，一般说明因果关

系，着重点在主句。

>Asshewasnohorsewoman,walkingwasheronlyalternative（choice）.（首字母）

Ps:原句为alternative,此处首字母choice为替换词。（学生版不出现）

4.for

•不是说明直接原因，而是多种情况加以推断；

•不能用在句首，只能用在逗号后面。

•由because引导的从句如果放在句末，且前面有逗号，可以用for引导的并列句来代替

>Heisabsenttoday,because/forheisill.

>ThenewsthatthecarriagewasnotavailabletillnextTuesdayannoyedhim,forhewas

impatienttogethome.
