6.Participateingroupdiscussionsandrole-playstopracticeusingmodalverbscorrectly.

7.Demonstrateawarenessofpersonalresponsibilitytowardsenvironmentalcleanliness.

V.TeachingProcedures:

Step1:Warm-up(5minutes)

-Starttheclassbyaskingstudentswhatcomestotheirmindwhentheythinkaboutcampingandwhyit'simportanttokeepacampsiteclean.

-Introducekeyvocabularythroughaquickpicturecardactivity.

Step2:Pre-reading(5minutes)

-Showstudentsimagesofdifferentcampsites,includingbothcleananddirtyones,andaskthemtodiscusstheimpactoftheseconditionsontheenvironment.

-Reviewthetargetlanguagestructures,focusingontheuseofmodalverbsforrulesandadvice.

Step3:While-listening(15minutes)

-Playanaudiorecordingfeaturingaconversationamongcampersdiscussingthecamprulesandwaystokeeptheenvironmentclean.

-Askstudentstolistenandidentifythedifferentrulesmentionedandthereasonsbehindthem.

-Afterlistening,facilitateaclassdiscussiontoclarifyanymisunderstandingsandencouragestudentstosharetheirthoughtsonhowtheywouldcontributetokeepingacampclean.

Step4:Post-listening(15minutes)

-Inpairsorsmallgroups,studentspracticecreatingdialogueswheretheydiscussandenforcecamprulesusingthetargetlanguagestructures.

-Circulatetheclassroomtoprovidefeedbackandensurethecorrectuseofmodalverbs.

Step5:SpeakingPractice(10minutes)

-Conductarole-playactivitywherestudentsassumetherolesofcampersandparkrangersenforcingrules.Rangerswillgiveinstructionsandadviceusingmodalverbs,whilecampersrespondappropriately.

-Somegroupscanperformtheirrole-playfortheclass.

Step6:WritingTask(10minutes)

-Assignawritingtaskwherestudentscreatealistofrulesforaneco-friendlycampsite,usingmodalverbstoexpressobligationsandprohibitions.

-Encouragestudentstoincludepersonalideasonhowtomaintainagreenandcleancampenvironment.

Step7:Homework&Review(5minutes)

-Reviewkeyvocabularyandlanguagestructuresbyplayingagamesuchas"EcoCommand,"wherestudentsgiveandfollowenvironmentalcommandsusingmodalverbs.

-Assignhomework:Studentsresearchandprepareashortpresentationonanationalparkorcampground,discussingitsrulesandwhytheyareimportant.

-Evaluatestudents'participationindiscussions,listeningexercises,andgroupworktoassesstheirunderstandingo
