Onewaythishappensisthroughtheincreasesinincomesthataccompanytheuseofnewtechnologies.Withthe
introductionofthesetechnologies,goodandservicescanbeproducedfaster;whichresultsinhigherrealincomesfor
workers.Higherincomesthenincreasedemandforotherproductsandconsequentlymoreworkersareneededtomake
them.Additionally,whilenewtechnologiesarelikelytosubstituteforsometypesofworkers,theywillalsoincrease
demandforothertypesofworkers,especiallythosewithhigherlevelskillsandexpertise.
