ntificrationaleCountriesmayperceivesomeotherbenefittoconductingincountrytrialsIfacountryiswillingtousedatacollectedfromsurrogateenvironments,thosedatamustbecollectedincompliancewithregulatoryrequirementsRequirementsneedtobetransparent,anddeterminedinadvanceSpecific,hypothesisdriventestinginagivenenvironmentmaystillbewarrantedProvidedthereisaplausiblepathwaytoharmandtheexperimentbeingdoneisabletoprovideusefulinformationConclusionsItispossibletoapplyasurrogateapproachtomakeuseofremoteenvironmentstosatisfylocalfieldtrialrequirementsPre-requisitesforusingthesurrogateenvironmentapproach:Establishthattheenvironmentwherethetrialsareconductedisrelevantinthecountrywherethedatais
