Ifyouhaveamapinclass,directstudentstoit.Ifnot,bringonein.Pointtoacityyou'vebeentoorknowabout,forexample,Cebu,inthePhilippines.Say"Lookatthemap.Whatcityisthis?"Elicitorprovidethenameofthecity.Ask"Whenisspring?"Elicitorprovideanappropriateresponse,forexample,FromMarchtoMay.Writethemonthsontheboard,Mar.May.Thenask"What'stheweatherlikeinspring?"Elicitorprovideanappropriateresponse,forexample,It'swarmanditrainsalot.Writewarm,rainyontheboard.Youcaneventeachtyphoonifyouwish,andsay"It'styphoonseason".Ifyoufeelyourstudentsareready,youmayskipthisstep.
