【whatever引导的宾语从句】

【句式点拨】

此句是but连接的并列句。第一分句中的studying

hard是动名词短语作主语;第二分句中的or连接两个平行的宾语,其中whatever引导的宾语从句作介词for的宾语。whatever可以引导让步状语从句,也可引导名词性从句。引导让步状语从句时,相当于no

matter

what,意为“无论什么…….”:引导名词性从句时,相当于anything

that,意为“任何…….的事情”。

【温馨提示】当whatever引导让步状语从句且从句中有may和系动词be出现时,从句可以省略may和系动词be。
