ThefollowingclausesdefinetheUEradioaccesscapabilityparameters.OnlyparametersforwhichthereisthepossibilityforUEstosignaldifferentvaluesareconsideredasUEradioaccesscapabilityparameters.Therefore,mandatoryfeatureswithoutcapabilityparametersthatarethesameforallUEsarenotlistedhere.
ThenetworkneedstorespectthesignalledUEradioaccesscapabilityparameterswhenconfiguringtheUEandwhenschedulingtheUE.
ForcapabilitiesthatrequiredtobesetconsistentlyforallFDD-FR1bands(i.e.capabilitiesthataresupposedtobeperUE),theUEshallalsosetcapabilityvaluesforallSULbandswithsamevaluesforFDD-FR1bandsifSULbandissupportedbytheUE.
TheUEmaysupportdifferentfunctionalitiesbetweenFDDandTDD,and/orbetweenFR1andFR2.TheUEshallindicatetheUEcapabilitiesasfollows.InthetableofUEcapabilityparameterinsubsequentclauses,"Yes"inthecolumnby"FDD-TDDDIFF"and"FR1-FR2DIFF"indicatestheUEcapabilityfieldcanhaveadifferentvalueforbetweenFDDandTDDorbetweenFR1andFR2and"No"indicatesifitcannot."(InclFR2-2DIFF)"inthecolumnby"FR1-FR2DIFF"indicatestheUEcapabilityfieldcanhaveadifferentvalueforbetweenFR2-1andFR2-2.RegardingtotheperUEcapabilitiesthatareFDD/TDDdifferentiated(i.e.capabilitiesindicatedas"Yes"inthecolumnby"FDD-TDDDIFF"),thecorrespondingcapabilitiesindicatedbytheFDDcapabilityisappliedtoSULifSULbandissupportedbytheUE."FD"inthecolumnindicatestorefertheassociatedfielddescription."FR1only"or"FR2only"inthecolumnindicatestheassociatedfeatureisonlysupportedinFR1orFR2and"TDDonly"indicatestheassociatedfeatureisonlysupportedinTDDandnotapplicabletoSULcarriers."N/A"inthecolumnindicatesitisnotapplicabletothefeature(e,g.thesignalingsupportstheUEtohavedifferentvaluesbetweenFDDandTDDorbetweenFR1andFR2).
