Length125mm(5in)xWidth13mm(0.5in)xThickness[typically1.5mm(1/16in)or3.0mm(1/8in)or6.0mm(1/4in)].

长125mm(5")X宽13mm(1/2")X厚度[一般为1.5mm(1/16")、3.0mm(1/8")或6.0mm(1/4")厚]

Procedure程序

1.

Threespecimensofeachthicknessaretestedafterconditioningfor48hoursat23degreesCand50%RH.

每一种厚度准备了三个试片，测试前先在23℃和50%相对湿度下放置48小时。

2.

Eachspecimenismountedwithitslongaxishorizontalanditsshortaxisata45degreeangle.

每一试片以长轴呈水平、短轴呈45°方式固定。

3.

Eachspecimenismarkedwithtwolines,25mmand100mmfromoneendofthespecimen.

每一试片在25mm及100mm处画线做记号。

4.

Eachspecimenissupportedatoneendsuchthatitsloweredgeis10mmaboveapieceofwiregauze.

每一试片之一端固定，低缘下方10mm处水平放置一片金属细网。

5.

A20mmhighblueBunsenburnerflameisappliedtothefreeendofthespecimenfor30secondandthenremoved.Ifthespecimencontinuestoburnaftertheremovalofthetestflame,thetimefortheflamefronttotravelbetweenthetwogaugemarksismeasuredandtheburningratecalculatedinmillimetersperminute.

一个20mm高蓝色本生灯火焰燃烧试片未固定之一端30秒钟然后移开。在火焰移开后假如试片继续燃烧，则测出火焰由前缘燃烧至2个记号之间所用的时间。燃烧速率以mm/min计算。

Atotalof10specimens(2sets)aretestedperthickness.

每一厚度总共10个试片(分为两组)被测试。

2.

Fivespecimensofeachthicknessaretestedafterconditioningfor48hoursat23degreesCand50%RH.

每一厚度取5个试片为一组在23℃和50%下放置48小时后再测试。

3.

Fivespecimensofeachthicknessaretestedafterconditioningfor7daysat70degreesC.

同一厚度另取5个试片为一组在70℃下放置7天后再测试。

4.

Eachspecimenismountedwithlongaxisvertical

每一试片以长轴垂直地面方式固定。

Eachspecimenissupportedsuchthatitslowerendis10mmaboveBunsenburnertube.

试片上端被支撑以致下端高于本生灯10mm。

6.

Ablue20mmhighflameisappliedtothecenteroftheloweredgeofthespecimenfor10secondsandremoved.Ifburningceaseswithin30seconds,theflameisreappliedforanadditional10seconds.Ifthespecimendrips,particlesareallowedtofallontoalayerofdryabsorbentsurgicalcottonplaced300mmbelowthespecimen.

每一组的5个试片中，共10次火焰燃烧10秒钟移开后，总共火焰燃烧的时间不超过50秒钟。

一个高度40mm中心是蓝色的火焰总长125mm高的本生灯，放置方式与垂直方向呈20°角，并使蓝色火焰的顶端接触前试片的底端。燃烧试片底端5秒钟后再移开火焰5秒钟。如此操作重复5次。
