andsoon.Theselabelsdescribehowfastthedriveiscomparedtothefirstversionofthatdrive.Forexample,a
36xdriveis36timesthespeedofthebaselineunitthatwasoriginallymanufactured.Mostopticaldiscshavea
titleandothertextprintedonlyononesideandtheyareinsertedintothedrivewiththeprintedsidefacingup.
WheninsertingsuchaCDorDVD,becarefulnottogetdirt,fingerprints,scratches,oranythingelsethatmight
hinderlightreflectivityonthedisc’ssurface.
