3、in March 2015Located approximately 3.5 km northwest of Dawlish, Devon, Sawmills Farm project has been connected to the grid under the UKs Renewable Obligation program. With a total installed capacity of 6.6 MWp, the project will provide electricity for approximately 2,000 average households, or one

4、third in Dawlish, and reduce almost 3,000 tonnes of carbon emission every year.The project was developed under the thorough consideration with balanced economic, ecological as well as the social benefit. The sloppy hillside requires smart, but efficient engineering solutions, and ETs experienced eng

5、ineering team competed the project within weeks.Community Benefits:A community benefit fund is being established which will pay 6,500 a year, or over 162,500 for the lifetime of the solar farm. This is being administered by the be Village Club and will initially be used to bring fibre-optic Broadban

Subsequently it will be spent on other projects to deliver social, environmental or economic benefits to the local community.Additional funding for educational benefits is being offered to support science learning at Gatehouse ACE Academy in Dawlish. Solstic

7、e is contributing 5,000 from the educational fund to help it reach its Solar Schools fundraising target to install solar panels on its roof.
