Then ask the students to share their answers with the class.2. Show some pictures of people who have d
3、ifferent jobs to help the students to express themselves.Step Presentation(讲课)Play the audiotape for Lesson 25. Play it once and ask the students just to listen.Play the audiotape a second time and ask the students to answer the questions of Part One of “Lets Do It”.Learn new words and new phrases w

And then explain the uses of these words and phrases.might v.aux. 可能,也许(用法:might是may的过去式,有时也不是,比may更委婉。)scientist n. 科学家grow v. 生长(过去式为:grew;过去分词为grown)engineer n. 工程师,技师be good at 擅长(用法:相当于do well in,后面跟名词、代词或动名词)give a talk to sb. 给某人做报告(用法:give a talk to sb. = give sb.
5、a talk)be nice to sb. 对某人好(相当于be good/kind to sb.)grow up 长大have a rest 休息一下(相当于rest)take some medicine 吃药(相当于have some medicine,不用eat或drink)4. Make sentences with the main phrases.5 Explain the main structures. Its hard some times to talk about the future.有时候谈论未来式很困难的。Its + adj. + to do sth.表示“做事情是
6、”,在此句型中,it为形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式短语to do sth.为了保持句子的平衡,动词不定式短语作主语时,常用it作形式主语,而将真正的主语(动词不定式短语)后置。I hope to be a teacher.我希望成为一名教师。hope to do sth.表示“希望做某事”。hope后也可跟that引导的宾语从句,但没有hope sb. to do sth.这种结构。I would be nice to my students.我会对我的学生们好。would是will的过去式,可用于过去将来时,后跟动词原形。但这里would不是will的过去式,比will更委婉。Im
7、 not sure I can be a scientist.我不确定我能够成为一名科学家。sb. be sure +that从句的意思是“认为一定”。否定式为sb. be not sure+疑问词引导的从句。Im not sure when hell come here.我不能肯定他什么时候来这。6.
