1、XX外国语学院大学英语精读II教学大纲一、教学对象本大纲的教学对象是非英语专业的职高学生。入校时，他们应已掌握 基本的英语语音和语法知识，领会式掌握单词并在读、听、说等方面受过 初步训练。二、课程基本目的能读懂语言难度中等的一般性题材的文章，学会基本的阅读技能。全 面提高学生的听，说，读，写，译的基本技能的陪养。使各种语言技能综 合开展，相辅相成，互相促进。使学生打下扎实的语言基础，掌握良好的 语言学习方法，提高文化素质，以适应社会开展和经济建设的需要。三、教学方式教学方式是以课堂教学为主。课堂教学不仅要扩大学生的语言知识， 加强和提高学生的语言运用能力，还要帮助学生养成良好的学习习惯，培 养

6、、推理和判断。4、说的能力能就教材内容和一般性的听力材料进行回答和讨论，能就一般的社会 生活话题进行简单的交谈讨论和发言，表达思想清楚，语音、语调基本正 确。5、写的能力能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记、回答下列问题，能就一定 的提纲、表格或图示在半小时内写出80-100字的短文。内容完整，条理 清楚，文理通顺。6、译的能力能借助词典将难度略低于课文的英语短文译成汉语，理解正确，译文 达意。能借助词典将内容熟悉的汉语文字材料译成英语，译文达意，无重 大语言错误。五、教学学时大学英语精读n总学时为54课时，每周为3课时。六、教学内容大学英语精读教材第二册共有十个单元。每个单元由课文、生词

7、、 注释、练习和阅读五局部组成。课文全部选用原文材料，题材多样，内容 丰富有趣，有一定的启发性。生词释义采用英汉结合方式。一般情况下， 尽可能用英语释义。不太明确的再加注汉语，难以用英语解释清楚的那么直 接用汉语释义。注释尽量用浅近的英语，主要介绍有关的背景知识，说明一些特殊语 言现象，供学生预习时参考。本册的练习包括朗读和背诵(Reading Aloud and Memorizing)、课文理解(Comprehension of the Text)、词汇 (Vocabulary)、构词(Word Building)、结构(Structure)、完形填 空(Cloze)和翻译(Translat

8、ion)等局部。朗读和背诵练习主要要求学 生掌握句重音和意群，并熟记课文中有关段落。课文理解练习要求学生根 据课文回答下列问题，有的那么要求学生陈述自己的看法；有条件的班级可用一 定的时间在教师引导下进行讨论，以提高学生的口头表达能力。词汇练习 旨在巩固课文中所学的常用词和词组的用法。构词练习学生熟悉现代英语 中的主要构词法，熟练掌握一些常用的前缀、后缀，借以扩大词汇量。结 构练习的目的是使学生掌握一些英语常用句型，以提高学生的表达能力。 完形填空练习是一种综合性的练习，分A、B、两篇。前者根据课文写成， 主要围绕该科重点词和词组做语篇水平的操练；后者选自课外的文章。这 一练习有一定难度，需要

9、有教师予以启发引导。翻译联系每单元安排八句 汉译英，可作为课外书面作业。阅读练习旨在培养学生的阅读技能，每一(或二)单元编列一项技能, 并配有一篇内容与课文相近而难度较浅的阅读材料；其中-4级的大纲词汇加注汉语，放在前面，希望学生尽量掌握。教师应紧扣技能的培养，不必在语言现象的分析上花太多时间。新增的科普阅读文章(SupplementaryReading in Popular Science)主要供学生自学。七、课程考核方式大学英语精读II考核方式为考试。其中平时成绩占40% (包括出勤率、课堂表现、回答下列问题、作业)，期末考试成绩占60%。八、每单元具体掌握重点UNIT ONENew wo
