A variable speed wind turbine has many advantages, mainly it can increase the power yield from the wind, alleviate the load peak in the electrical-mechanical drive train, and posses a long life time, also, it can offer the possibility to store the briefly time

13、ly wind-conditioned power fluctuations in the wind rotor, in which the rotary masses are used as storages of kinetic energy, consequently, the variable speed wind turbines are utilized in the wind power industry widely. In this work, on the basis of a planetary transmission a new kind of drive train

14、 for the variable speed wind turbines is proposed. The new drive train consists of wind rotor, three-shafted planetary gear set, generator and servo motor. The wind rotor is coupled with the planet carrier of the planetary transmission, the generator is connected with the ring gear through an adjust

By controlling the electromagnetic torque or speed of the servo motor, the variable speed operation of the wind rotor and the constant speed operation of the generator are realized, therefore, the generator can be coupled with the grid di

A test rig has been instrumented to give measurements of the mechanical input (torque and speed) and electrical output (voltage, current and power) of the generator, as well as temperature readings from inside the generator using

32、yor Belt DryersChemical Engineering Research and DesignClassical 1-D numerical simulations of dryers involve the solution of non linear differential relations which include balance equations and transfer functions; namely, the drying rate equation and the heat transfer equation. These relations are

33、integrated by means of the network theory and a new approachtheNumber of Transfer Units method. This process leads to a non-linear algebraic system used to develop computer simulation programs. In this paper, the applications are based on the study of multiple-conveyor dryers. This type of dryer is

34、used for many chemical engineering industrial applications to dry coarse particles (i.e., over 5 to 10mm) or for food engineering. Numerical simulations are performed to analyse the drying efficiency of these conveyor dryers. Due to the heat and mass numbers of transfer units and to the network idea

35、, the computer programs run faster than classical ones. This program is involved in the expertise and study of the effectiveness ofmultiple-conveyor dryers. Some rules of behaviour of conveyor dryers are discussed and may be used in order to improve their design.Continuous weighing on a multi-stage

36、conveyor belt with FIR filter MeasurementToday higher speed of operation and highly accurate weighing of packages during crossing a conveyor belt has been getting more important in the food and distribution industries etc. Continuous weighing means that masses of discrete packages on a conveyor belt

37、 are automatically determined in sequence. Making the proper use of new weighing scale called a multi-stage conveyor belt scale which can be created so as to adjust the conveyor belt length to the product length, we propose a simplified and effective mass estimation algorithm under practical vibrati

38、on modes. Conveyor belt scales usually have maximum capacities of less than 80 kg and 140 cm, and achieve measuring rates of 150 packages per minute and more. The output signals from the conveyor belt scales are always contaminated with noises due to vibrations of the conveyor belt and the product i

39、n motion. In this paper digital filter of finite-duration impulse response (FEB) type is designed to provide adequate accuracy. The experimental results on conveyor belt scales suggest that the filtering algorithm proposed here is effective enough to practical applications. As long as spaces between
