So please your customers read this manual in detail before installating and operating and preserve it safely for reference in future.II Using RangeThis produ
3、ct applies to convey various of lubricating liquid media have no solid particle and corrosion of which viscosity is below 150cSt and temperature is less than 250. Such as various of mineral oil and vegetable oil etc. The using temperature of pump shall be decided in accodance with sealing materials
4、of axis end.It also can convey non-lubricating media of kerosene, gasolene, and mechanical materials etc. after equiping copper gearings in special situaitons, but its using life is shorter relatively.III Type CodeKCB / 2CY: Pump code300 / 18/3.6: SpecificationG: G-rolling bearing; C-tin bronze bear

11、under the condition of 50 and 30cSt.V Working PrincipleThis kind of pump has installed a set of rotary gearing which can dispart the whole woking sell to two absolute parts resulted from joggling of two gearings. Driving gear rotarates driven gear when pump running. As gears dispart from joggling as
12、 indraft side becomes partial vacuum and the liquid shall be absorbed. Such liquid absorbed shall along with every gear tooth to discharging side, as gears enter to joggling as liquid shall be squeezed out from pump.VI StructureThis product consists of pump, gearing, fore/rear pump cover, safe valve
13、, axis, sealing device and accessory parts etc.6.1 Accessories of pump and fore/rear pump cover made of grey cast iron; gears made of quality carbon steel; all parts also can be made of copper or stainless steel according to customers requirements.6.2 Safe Valve2CY seriers gearing lubrication pump h
14、as not installed safe valve, customer should install a safe valve additionally in pipeworks when using.KCB/2CY seriers gearing oil pump has set a safe valve in rear pump cover or over the pump. Once pump or discharging pipework run in fault or appears high pressure after closing off discharging valv
15、e completely, safe valve shall be open automatically. Discharging materials or whole high pressure liquid can be absorbed in indrafe cell for protecting safety of pump and pipeworks.6.3 Axis2CY seriers gearing lubrication pump choose DU bearing; it also can choose tin copper according to customers r
16、equirements.KCB18.3-83.3/2CY1.1 gearing oil pump comsist of three structures of DU bearing, tin copper bearing and rolling bearing which should be noted clearly when ordering. We shall choose DU bearing structure for supply if without any specific indications.Bearing has been designed to built-in ty
17、pe and choose convey media to lubricate. DU bearing and tin copper bearing can work in non-lubrication media.6.4 Shaft SealThis seriers products have three structures of framework oil seal, mechanical seal and materials seal.6.4.1 Framework Oil Seal: it has characters of easy maintenance and replace
18、ment , low cost, but using life is shorter. NBR framework oil seal can apply to enviornmental temperature below 100; Fluororubber framework oil seal can apply to enviornmental temperature over 200.6.4.2 Mechanical Seal: it has characters of reliable sealing, longer using life, but cost is higher. It
19、s base body is made by stainless steel. Its dynamic and static medias are made by YG8 hard alloy or YG8 graphite individually and working temperature is below 200.6.4.3 Materials Seal: it only applies to high temperature oil pump can stand up to high temperature. As it has a few leakage when using s
20、hould be adjusted according to leaking situations, and which can apply to temperature of below 250.Which kind of seal structure required should be noted clearly when ordering. We shall choose NBR framework oil seal for supply if without any specific indications.6.5 Oil Inlet/Outlet TypeOil inlet/out
21、let of 2CY seriers gearing lubrication pump has pipe screw thread(B) fited with its diameter, which has been set in pump directly.KCB18.3-200, 2CY1.1-12 gearing oil pump has set flange of screw thread inlet/out; Other pumps have not set flange. Customers should noted when ordering if needs flange or
22、 not.6.6 Pump and motor have been connected by elastic coupling and mounted on base buttom.VII Special Attentions of Operation7.1 Installation7.1.1 Check if any damages in pump duaring transportation, i.e. if it is affected with damp, or if has any dirts enters into pump as breakdown of dust cover a
23、t pump inlet/outlet, etc.7.1.2 Clean internal wall of pipeworks by water or steam before operation. The weight of pump should not be carried by pump when installing in order to avoid influence of pump accuracy and service life.7.1.3 Oil pump should be set near oil pool as it can as possible; every c
24、onnection in pipeworks should not leak gas and liquid in order to avoid suction failure of liquid.7.1.4 For avoiding entrance of grain dirts to pump, it is ought to set a metal screen with filtering accuracy of 30 mesh/in. at suction inlet, and filtering area should more than 3 times of section area
25、 of oil feeding pipe.7.1.5 It is recommended to install a vaccum gauge and a pressure gauge in inlet/outlet pipe for operational convinence of monitoring pump.7.1.6 When degree of vaccum is too high possibly caused by redundant depth of oil pool, redundant length of oil suction pipe, or excessive vi
26、scosity of media, it is adapted to replace oil feeding pipe to one size bigger. If oil suction pipe is too long that should install a buttom valve.7.2 Check before operation7.2.1 fastness of every fastening piece of pump;7.2.2 equality of driving axises when rolling;7.2.3 keep open of valves in inle
27、t/outlet pipe;7.2.4 rotary direction of pump should accord with requirements;7.2.5 inject a little media to pump before the first usage.7.3 Maintenance7.3.1 Pay attention to keep reading value of pressure gauge and vaccum gauge in the range of prescriptive technical specfications of this pump.7.3.2
28、Stop pump to exam timely once finding abnormal noise or too high temperature rising.7.3.3 Any one should not adjust safe valve normally. If needs to adjust it should use instrument to check for keeping stop pressure of safe valve is 1.5 to 2 times of rated pressure.7.4 Stop of pump7.4.1 Shut off ele
29、ctrical source.7.4.2 Turn off valves of inlet/outlet pipe.VIII Familiar Errors and Elimination MethodsErrorsPossible CausesElimination MethodsNo oil discharging or fewer quantity of oil discharging 1. Check every connection. Add sealing materials for more tightly;3. Correct in accordance with indicated direction of
31、pump;4. Keep no jams in pipework and full opening of valves;5. Clean safe valve and rub valve hole by fine abrasive sand to recover its compactness;6. Preheat liquid or decrease discharging pressure.Oil leaking of seal1. Wear and tear of seal ring;2. Materials wear out (Materials Seal);3. Mechanical
32、 seal wears out or has nicks on it etc.;4. Mechanical seal springs wear out.1. Replace new seal ring;2. Adjust materials cover to suitable position for assuring no oil leaking and correct rotary of bearings; and adds materials;3. Replace new dynamic/static loops or rub again;4. Replace new springs.L
33、oud noise or large vibration1. Jam with suction pipes or filting screens;2. Suction pipes dig into liquid level is shallow;3. Entrence of atmosphere;4. Too big resistance in discharging pipework;5. Baddly abrasion of bearing in gear or side plate;6. Exceeding viscosity of suction liquid.7. Suction h
34、eight exceeds rated value.1. Eliminates dirts in filting screens;2. Digs suction pipe into liquid level;3. Check every connection assuring its sealing tightly;4. Clean jams in discharging pipes and valves;5. Detach and cleanout, maintenance or replace;6. Increase temperature or decrease viscosity;7.
