They all have the basic ability of English language study, and have learned the basic use of participles. They can cooperate and co
3、mmunicate with each other though their learning skills still need improving. Of course, they are eager to know more about the use of participles, especially how to tell the functions of them and use them properly in different situations, such as how to use them as adverbial, the differences between
4、present participle and past participle etc. Analysis of the lesson(二、教材分析)1. The revision of the use of participles, especially when they are used as adverbial and attributive, and the right forms of them.2. Leading in the topic of participles by showing pictures and describing each picture using on
5、e word or one sentence. Of course, drawing their attention to the use of participles. 3. Getting some key points that we should pay special attention to when using participles.4. Improving the ability of using participles properly and getting some useful skills to tell the differences between presen

Enable the students to talk about functions of participles, some forms of present participle, and something that should be paid attention to when using them.B. Try to form the ability of tell

Conclusion Ask the students to point out the part

16、being done完成式 having done having been done 过去分词只有一种形式。 Step : Judge the following sentences to see how to use present participle correctly.(10 minutes) 1). Have a competition to raise the students interest to join in the activities in class. 2). Give the exercises and ask them to judge the sentences
17、 and try to tell the reasons. 3). Let the students make a conclusion.4). The teacher and the whole class judge together and add some more if necessary.1. Doing all their shopping, they went home for a rest.(F)Show what we can find from the exercises: 1).分词作状语时,其逻辑主语须与句子主语一致,若与主语为主动关系用现在分词,若与主语为被动关系用过去分词。若主语不一致,则
19、要在分词前加其逻辑主语,构成独立主格结构。2)若分词表示的动作在谓语表示的动作之前发生,要用其完成形式。3)现在分词的否定式为:not或never加-ing构成。Step IV 介绍独立主格结构。(分词逻辑主语与句子主语不一致时,可用独立主格结构)( 3 minutes) E.g. Everything being ready, we started out. (表原因) . Weather permitting, well go outing. (表条件) All the guests having arrived, the party was declared open.(表时 间)Ste
20、p V: Translate some sentences.( 6-7 minutes) According to the exercises, ask the students to pay attention to the participles when they are used as attributive and object complement. Then give some addition about the participles used as predicative.1).Ask some students to translate the following sen
21、tences.A.你认识那个在哭的女孩吗?B我在读一本巴金写的书。C他看到电视机被抬出房间。D我听到隔壁有人在唱歌。2). Ask some of them to make a conclusion about the use of participles according to the exercises.分词作定语与宾补时应注意:1).单个分词作定语时放在所修饰名词之前,若为分词短语则放在所修饰词之后;且现在分词表示动作正在进行,与所修饰词构成主动关系;过去分词则表示动作已完成,与所修饰词构成被动关系。2.分词作宾补时,现在分词表示动作与谓语动词动作同时发生或正在进行,强调动作过程;过去
22、分词则表示动作完成结果,并有被动意义。此外,现在分词作表语时,具有主动含义,意味“起这种作用”;而过去分词作表语具有被动含义,意味着“受这种影响”:E.g. The work was tiring. The workers were soon tired.另外,现在分词作表语表特性,过去分词作表语表示状态。E.g. The situation is encouraging. The book is well written.Step VI: Discuss with your partners and complete the following sentences with the righ
23、t form of the given verbs and point out the functions of them to check how well they have gained about the use of participles. ( 6 minutes)1. Do you know the boy _ (lie) under the big tree?2. At present, English is the main foreign language_(teach) in middleschools in China.3. When _ (complete), the

26、ence into another way, such as, using attributive clause, adverbial clause etc. 关于分词选定的原则1).分词短语作状语时,则要看分词与句子主语的关系。如果句子的主语是分词动作的执行者,用现在分词;如果主语是分词动作的承受者,用过去分词。2).分词作定语时,若与所修饰名词构成被动关系且表示动作正在进行,则要用现在分词的被动式;过去分词作定语时,表示动作已完成。3).可在分词前加连词,如 when, while, if等。4).现在分词作状语时,可表示时间,原因,结果,伴随等。Step VII: Ask the who
