4、 think takes up the most space? 你认为哪个爱好占用的空间最多?1这句含do you think 插入语(进行附加说明或解释)的简单句,不作成分,意为“你认为,你觉得”。常用句式:特殊疑问词+do you think+陈述句语序。例如:Where do you think they will visit? 2take up意为“填满,占据,占有某空间或时间”。例如:That big color TV set takes up too much room.那个大彩电太占地方。拓展:与take有关的短语:take away 取走 take back 送还,接回,使回忆
5、起take care 留神 take care of 照顾take notice of 注意到 take off 拿掉,脱衣,起飞 take down 拆卸 take it easy 放轻松 take over 接管,接手 take sth. with sb.随身携带某物 take the medicine吃药2Sorry, its a bit of a mess. 对不起,有点乱。1a bit of 表示“有点儿,稍微”,此句修饰可数名词单数。例如:He is a bit of a poet. 他有点像诗人。2a bit与a little 表示“稍微、一点儿”同:可以用来修饰动词以及形容词、
6、副词的原级、比拟级和动词。例如:a bit/ a little difficult不同:a little = a bit of +不可数名词;例如 anot a big = not at all, not a little = very;3. have a look 看一看,后面不加名词。have a look at sth. 看, 后加宾语。例如:Youd better go to the factory andhave a look. 你最好到厂里去看一看。Let mehave a lookat the map. 让我看看这张地图。4. Do you collect anything? 你
7、收集什么东西呢?collect v.收集 collector n. 收藏家 collection n. 收集物,收藏品5. They must be very valuable. must 一定,肯定,用于表示某事可能是真实的;must be 必定是,用于表示确切判断例如:In England trafficmustkeep to the left. 在英国,车辆必须靠左行驶。He mustbe an honest boy. 他肯定是一个老实的孩子。6. Ill show you my stamps too. 我也会向你展示我的邮票。Show sb. sth. =show sth. to sb
8、. 给某人看某物 例如:He showed me his computer. = He showed his computer to me.他给我看他的电脑。拓展:与show相关的短语:show of 炫耀 show up 出现;露面on show 陈列;展览show sb. around 带领某人参观7. all over the world 全世界8. tidy up 收拾 tidy it up; tidy them up例如:Please tidy up the mess before you go. 在你走之前,请把东西整理好。9. remember doing sth. 记得已经做过
9、某事,表示事情已经做了remember to do sth. 记住将要做某事,表示事情还没做例如:I remember closing all the windows. 我记得关上了所有的窗户。I remember to close all the windows. 我记得要去关上所有的窗户。反义词:forget doing sth. 忘记做过某事 forget to do sth. 忘记去做某事10. 10、als. 很多学生都有爱好,比方阅读、绘画、种菜和照看动物。such as 表示“例如”,等于for example。 例如:He learns many subjects, such as English, math and Chinese.他学习好多科目,比方,英语,数学和语文such as和for example都可以表示“例如”,区别:such as多表示罗列同类人或事物,一般至少有两项,其后不能用逗号;for example表示“举例”,其后需用逗号隔开,只列出一项,可位于句首、句中或句末。11. Hobbies can make you grow as a person, deve
11、lop your interests and help you learn new skills. 爱好能够促进你的成长,激发你的兴趣,还能帮助你学习新的技能。 1grow as a person,表示“长大成人”。2develop ones interests,表示“发展某人的兴趣”。develop 表示“发展,提高”。例如:The course can help you develop your speaking skills. 这门课程可以帮助你提高口语表达能力。3make + 宾语 + do (即不带to的不定式) 意为“迫使某人做某事”。例如:They made me repeat
12、the story. 他们让我又把那故事讲了一遍。 make +宾语+形容词 例如:The news made him sad. make +宾语+名词(表职位,头衔的词) 例如:We all made her our monitor.12. During the summer of 2010, he spent four weeks at a summer camp. 2010年的夏天,他在一个夏令营待了4个星期。spend+时间/金钱 on sth. 在某方面花多少时间或金钱 spend+ 时间/金钱+ indoing sth. 做某事花多少时间或金钱 例如:He spends much
13、time on his homework every day.他每天在他的作业上花许多时间。He spent much money buying the new car.他买那辆新车花了许多钱。13. As well as the usual activities, such as sailing and climbing, there was a writing class.除了像驾驶帆船、爬山等常见的活动外,还有一个写作研习班。 as well as意为“除之外,也,还”。 后面加名词或动词ing形式。连接两个名词或代词作主语时,谓语动词和前面的名词或代词保持一致。例如: He grows
14、 flowers as well as vegetables. 他既种花也种菜。She is a talented musician as well as being a photographer.她不仅是摄影师还是个天才的音乐家。 Tom as well as his friends likes playing basketball. 汤姆和他的朋友们喜欢打篮球。14. Then she encouraged us to write about our experiences at the camp. 然后她鼓励我们写下在夏令营的经历。encourage sb.(not) to do sth

16、d, as a result, she got good marks in the final exam.The girl kept studying hard, so she got good marks in the final exam.这个女孩学习一直很努力,因此,她在期末考试的时候考了好成绩。17. be interested in 指认对感兴趣例如:Are you interested in music?你对音乐感兴趣吗?interested和interesting的区别:interested表示“人对某物感兴趣的,指人的一种感受”,一般是人作主语。interesting表示“某东
