8、讨论、合作学习的方式练习英语听说读写的各项能力。 3 阅读材料的利用从三个方面着手：1) 研究篇章结构 引导学生通过阅读把握文章的框架结构，揣摩作者的写作意图，掌握谋篇布局的能力。因为文章的结构往往也是很重要的设题线索，如：主旨大意题，推理判断题等。2) 关注transitional words, 正确有效地使用它们能使文章更加流畅，结构更加严谨，逻辑性更强。3) topic-related vocabulary拓展学生的有效词汇，准确进行话题表述。如：关于homestay的词汇学习与积累4. 本节课由三部分构成：Presentation部分的Passage One ,Practice部分的P

9、assage Two以及Consolidation部分的Writing Practice。在选材上考虑到两篇阅读文章题材( homestay )及体裁 ( essay )的一致性,并兼顾作文话题的相关性，阅读部分为写作部分的进行提供outline和词汇支持；这样，学生在写作时会感到有具体内容可写，有具体框架可仿；这种设计的目的在于降低文章结构、内容方面的难度，增强学生写作信心，但仿写作文在本课并不以完整形式呈现，留作assignment。5 导入部分观看北京电视台关于老外home stay北京的视频以及北京奥运人家与上海世博人家两组共八张含有home stay内容 图片，激发学生兴趣，也使学生
