His family was very poor , and his farther died when he was 7 years old. His

2、 mother and he lived by the Textile made by his mother. His mother cried so ofte n that she was bli nd. Aniu worked hard whe n he was only 13 in order to cure his mother ' s ,yeist still failed.One ni ght, Aniu dreamed of a p retty girl to help him grow vegetables, and told him : “ Go along the

3、can al, there is a white chrysa nthemum in a garde n , which can cure eye diseases. It only opens on Double Ninth Chung Yeung Festival, you can use this flower to make Decoction , then your mother will recover after she drinks the decoct ion. ” On Chung Yeung Festival day, Aniu went to find white ch

4、rysa nthemums with the dry food. After his mother had the decoction , her eyes became better and better.This story spread so far to eulogize his filial piety which were worth lear ning for all of us.If all of us have filial p iety, we will live better.(2) Mogan MountainLong long ago, there lived a c

5、ouple. The man was n amed Gan Jia ng and the woma n was n amed Mo Ye. They were hardwork ing and brave, en thusiastic and kind. They loved each other dee ply. One day, the king of the Wu asked them to molded two swords in three mon ths. They started worki ng in the daytime eve n in the evening. But

6、the water was just boiling in the frunace but it did not aggmerate.Later, Mo Ye heard of that it n eeded the blood of the wome n to wielded the god of the frun ace. So Mo Ye jumped into the ftun ace without thinking in order to finished the task which the king asked. After a moment, the water began

7、aggmerati ng. Gan Jia ng was so sad at first. But fin ally he comp leted two swords. The two swords were named of these two persons. The male one was called “Gan Jia ng ” and the female one was called “Mo Ye ”.Ga n Jia ng and Mo Ye molded the swords on the moun ta in, so the mou ntai n was give n th

8、e n ame of “Mogan ” by the posterity.(3) The lege nd of Lia ng Shanbo and Zhu Yin gtai isset in the Easter n Jin Dyn asty.Zhu Yingtai was a beautiful and intelligent young woman, the ninth child and only daughter of the wealthy noble Zhu family of Shangyu, Zhejiang. Breaking traditions that restrict

9、ed females from going to school, she convinces her father to allow her to disguise herself as a young man and travels to Han gzhou to atte nd classes. During her journ ey, she meets Lia ng Shan bo, a scholar from Kuaiji (now known as Shaox in g), who lives in the same province as her. They chat and

10、feel a strong affinity for each other at their first meeting. Hence, they gather some soil as incense and take the oath of fratenity in the p avili on of a thatched bridge.For the n ext three years in school, they share the same room where there is only one bed and two quilts. Zhu Yingtai falls in l

11、ove with Liang Shanbo gradually. Although Lia ng equals Zhu in their studies, he is still a bookworm and fails to no tice the femi nine characteristics exhibited by his classmate.One day, Zhu Yi ngtai receives a letter from her father, ask ing her to return home as soon as po ssible. Zhu Yin gtai ha

12、s no choice but to p ack her bel ongings immediately and bid Liang Shanbo farewell. However, in her heart, she has already con fessed her love for Lia ng Shanbo and is determ ined to be with him for all eternity. Before her departure, she reveals her true identity to the headmaster's wife and re

13、quests her to hand over a jade pendant to Lia ng Shanbo as a betrothal gift.Lia ng Shanbo acco mpanies his "swor n brother" for 18 miles to see her off. During the journey, Zhu Yingtai hints to Liang Shanbo that she is actually a woma n. For exa mple, she comp ares them to a p air of man d

15、hey part, Zhu rem inds Lia ng to visit her reside nee later so he can propose to marry her "sister".Lia ngandZhurelucta ntly part ways at the p avilio n where they first met.Mon ths later, whe n Lia ng Shanbo visits Zhu Yin gtai, he discovers that she is actually a woma n. They are devoted

16、 to and p assi on ate about each other and they make a vow of "till death do us p art". The joy of their reunion is short-lived as Zhu's parents have already arran ged for her to marry a man from a rich family called Ma Wen cai. Lia ng Shanbo is heartbroke n whe n he hears the n ews an

17、d his health gradually deteriorates un til he becomes critically ill. He dies in office later as a county magistrate.On the day of Ma Wencai and Zhu Yingtai's marriage, mysterious whirlwinds prevent the wedding procession from escorting the bride beyond Lia ng Shan bo's grave, which lies alo

18、ng the journ ey. Zhu Yin gtai leaves the p rocessi on to pay her res pects to Lia ng Shan bo. She desce nds in bitter des pair and begs for the grave to open up. Suddeniy, the grave opens with a clap of thu nder. Without further hesitati on, Zhu Yin gtai throws herself into the grave to join Lia ng

19、Shan bo. Their sp irits turn into a p air of beautiful butterflies and emerge from the grave.
