2、n the teaching model. it is divided into four copies of each book and included sixteen units in it. each unit constitutes by text i, text ii and the related practices, which broke the center of writing system. this course arranged with topic for core (theme-based), the tasks for main line, and combi

3、ned the language skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, we can ramming our language foundation when we finished the study tasks, and training comprehensive application ability, realizing the experience of the language view, which have the comprehensive, process, feedback an

8、cabulary practice, is aim to help students to grasp some positive meaning of the words, and expand the usage, as we all know, no matter who first contact english, the vocabulary is the key and necessary. as a university student accumulate a mount of words is important. 2.2 grammar exercisesthis sect

9、ion chooses a prominent grammatical phenomenon to practice, including a common grammatical items of practice, so as to enhance students ability to use the language well.grammar is our big obstacle all the time, but in this course, you can get a good chance to improve your ability of grammar.2.3 oral

10、 activitiesfor students to practice oral english activities, the key point is to stimulate the students to speak, cultivating their english expression with your own ideas, and wake the ability of the debate, communication the thought with others. if someone can speak a fluent english, who will give

11、a good impression to others. 3 writing and listening practice (text1)3.1 writing practicethis is the guidance of writing practice, the key point is to strengthen the students ability of writing and the short paragraphs. but as far as im concerned there is a disadvantage in it, which is the writing p

12、ractices are less than other same course.3.2 listening exercisesthis section is designed to help students english listening, exercise the ability to reflect in time, and help students to accelerate mind operation.4 questions for discussion(text2)4.1 some questions about this essaythis section is the

13、 broaden and deepen for text1,if you handled it well, those two essays can act as a complementary role. text2 only has a practice-“questions for discussion”, the purpose is to help students to develop their mind.5 advantages and disadvantages about this course5.1 advantages5.1.1 thean integrated eng

14、lish courseis according to the higher school english professional english teaching outline of writing, it is to train the student to have the solid language basic skills, and broad knowledge, it have the relevant and professional knowledge, ability and high humanistic quality.5.1.2 this teaching mat

15、erial not only pay attention to language skills training. but pay more attention to the practical application of skills, as the main tasks of teaching material of layout, it make the text and to train as a organic whole, which to cultivate the students practical use english communication ability. en

16、glish major students in elementary grades in the language learning can provide a good basis of template.5.2 disadvantages5.2.1 in stylistic, the style of the textbook is single. the type of article includes narrative, expository, demonstration of cultural and descriptive text, without poetry and oth

17、er articles.5.2.2 in the arrangement the textbook, it is not enough novel and vivid, and lack of interest.5.2.3 in teachers teaching, for example, teachers only focus on the text i teaching and ignore the text of the content.5.2.4 inlanguage learning objective law,the textbook did not fully reflects
