2、群a group of people 有次序的人群gather ：v. 聚集；people gathered 人们聚集在一起, 尤指自发性的聚集handn. (表或机器的)指针；（人的）手；second hand 二手的, 旧的；shout v. 喊叫；另外call out 大声喊叫；cry out 大声哭喊；refuse v. 拒绝；,关于refuse常见短语：refuse to do sth:拒绝去做某事；例：she refused to do me a favor.她拒绝帮我忙。laugh: v.笑；laugh at sb:嘲笑某人；no one likes to be laughed

3、at.没有人喜欢被嘲笑。二、重要短语及知识点1. the clock stopped. 表停了。在本句中我们要掌握stop的相关用法：（1）stop to do sth:停止正在做的事去做另外一件事，例he stopped to open the door.他停下来打开门。they stop to smoke a cigarette.他们停下来，抽了根烟。（2）stop doing sth:停止正在做的事情，例：they stopped talking.他们停止说话了。i must stop smoking.我必须戒烟了。另外go onto do及go on doing 的用法也得引起注意，例

4、：（1）go on to do sth.是指做完一件事后转而去做其它事情。例：he went on to speak of his war experiences. 他转而谈到了他的战争经历。he went on to show us how to do it. 他转而向我们示范了如何做。（2）go on doing sth. 常常指继续或不间断地做某事。例：he went on talking as though nothing had happened. 他继续不停地讲着，仿佛什么事情都没有发生过似的。you cant go on working without a break. 你不能不

5、停地工作而不休息。2. at that moment, everyone begin to laugh and sing.此时大家笑了起来，同时唱起了歌。在本句中我们要掌握“开始去做某事的用法”（1）begin to do sth:开始去做某事。she begins to sweep the floor.她开始去打扫地板了。he begins to practice the piano.他开始去练习钢琴了。（2）begin doing sth：开始去做某事；例she began doing her homework as soon as she went home.她一回到家就开始写作业。sh

6、e begins reading this book.她开始读这本书了。（3）start to do sth:开始去做某事，例：she starts to sweep the floor.她开始去打扫地板了。he starts to practice the piano.他开始去练习钢琴了。（4）start doing sth：开始去做某事；例she started doing her homework as soon as she went home.她一回到家就开始写作业。四、补充语法：一般现在时一般现在时表示经常性、规律性、习惯性的动作或者动作呈现规律性的一种时间状态。用于陈述现在时间段

7、内发生或存在的事件、动作或情况,指动作发生在现在的时间段内。基本结构：当主语是单数名词、不可数名词或第三人称的单数形式的时候：主语+动词的第三人称的单数形式+其它如：she goes to school at 7:00 every morning.每天早晨她总是七点去上学动词的第三人称单数形式变化规律：第一、一般情况下直接在动词后边加s如：opens ; writes; reads;第二、以s，x，ch，sh，o，结尾的词加-es，如teaches；washes；wishes；goes；does。第三、以辅音字母加y结尾的词要变y为i再加es,如：try - tries，carry carri

8、es。第四、不规则变化havehas当主语是第一、第二人称或主语是名词复数的时候：主语+动词原形+其它如：i like learning english:我喜欢学英语they like go swimming:他们喜欢游泳基本用法：表示经常发生或反复发生的动作：he gets up at six.他六点起床。she works eight hours a day.她每天工作六小时。一般现在时可以表示现阶段内发生的动作或状态：he is a student:他是个学生。the soup tastes good:这汤味道很好。they enjoy skating:他们喜欢滑冰。一般现在时可用于陈述

9、客观事实和永恒的真理：the earth goes around the sun :地球围绕太阳转。summer follows spring:春去夏来。the sun rises in the east:太阳从东边升起。格言警句中用一般现在时：all roads lead to rome.:条条大路通罗马。句型转换：疑问句+否定句（1）在一般现在时句中将肯定句转换成一般疑问句需要遵循以下规律：句中有be（am/is/are）动词或情态动词can may must等直接把be或can may must提到主语前即可，如：i am a student,把此句转换成一般疑问句为：are you a

10、 student?肯定回答：yes, i am. 否定回答：no, i am not.i can swim, 把此句转换成一般疑问句为：can you swim?肯定回答：yes, i can. 否定回答：no, ican not.句中没有be动词或情态动词can may must，需借助于助动词do或does，把do/does放在主语前即可。do用于第一、第二人称和名词复数，does用于第三人称单数、名词单数或不可数名词。例：i like swimming把此句转换成一般疑问句为：do you like swimming? 肯定回答：yes, i do,否定回答：no, idont.he l

12、es not放在主语后边即可。do not用于第一、第二人称和名词复数，does not 用于第三人称单数、名词单数或不可数名词。she likes playing basketball 否定句为：she does not like playing basketball.一般现在时的标志词及短语：sometimes、usually、regularly、often、always、every year、every week、every day等等，在做题中见到这些词一般情况下用一般现在时。时态类型题解题规律：（1）先找标志词确定时态，若没有明显标志词则根据句意确定时态。（2）根据已经确定的时态，套
